Just watched a documentary on "Norm's Rare Guitars" in Tarzana, and learned that Robbie had his Strat bronzed just for this concert.

utterly bathetic, peurile and base. Push a 'past it' paraplegic chancer out in a wheelchair for sympathy. What an atrocious voice, come on?? Any idiot who says this is anywhere close to Costello is a moron. The song was written about re-opening the Birkenhead/Wallasey (namely Cammell Laird) shipyards to repurpose liners and other ocean going vessels and the effect on the local community of which McManus was a part of, he lived just up the road, Wyatt was brought up in wealthy, pretentious bomehian Kent and his only connection with Liverpool is the tragic communist led heroin shambles enforced on it by his ilk. Only the gullible and the foolish were taken in by this pretentiously teenage revolutionary melodrama. What a poser. To reiterate; what is even worse is the fact that Wyatt was a full blown communist the very ideology that led to merseyside's 70s/80s heroin addicted decline. Do some research, far too deep to go into here....

Like tryna draw blood outta stone tryna get a word outta his audience. But fair play to Frankie for cutting through the unwelcoming silence. Love how he laughs it off with a bit of Craic and what a show. Legendary 😊
