I saw Solomon and an amazing backup band at the House of Blues in the French Quarter in 1994. The best live music performance I’ve ever seen.

So everything the 'Britpop' bands claimed to have invented but more than a decade earlier... I wonder where blur got their ideas from?

What a chanter Frankie boy was btw .. I'm fae Glesga masel lol .. But I'm surprised by the amount of negative comments re the audience, to me they just didn't speak English & even if some of them did a bit they'd have no chance of understanding our dialect or humour! 🤣🤣

I was introed to this great song by Suede. Hearing them sing it I thought it was an original song of theirs. I told my mum to listen to it, and she was the one who told me it was a cover. Colour me surprised at that.

This is cool reminder about how great this band was. Audiences and critics loved them but they never got the record sales they deserved. The current line up do a fine job but the band here are truly special.
