Cracking music, I dug up the list of composers as: Kenji Yamazaki Hiroshi Tsukamoto Junichi Ueda Some of those tunes are very Yuzo Koshiro reminiscent!

So, for me... I have a problem with the SNES version, because it crashes on the Mini! Yet, dismissing that, it is also missing a character... As for graphics and presentation; The SNES is a clear winner over all. The first stage's parallax scrolling is instantly noticeable and so much cooler. Yet, when we get to the snow stage, the falling snow actually appears to be a little better looking on the Sega. Then, we get to the final level with the trapped titan... The titan's pecks move like a muscle bound moron showing off in the Sega, but NOT on the SNES (It looks like flan haha). However, the background slowly disappears on the SNES and that is SO much cooler. At the 2nd round the SNES gets a more gradual moon coming up in the background than Sega, which is now black to match... But again, when the fight is won, the SNES moon gradually turns red, where as the Sega is instant. The fingers both slide along the moon slowly, but the black contrast on the SNES is a lot better. However, the chunks of the enemy are more present on Sega. The SNES barely has any. Well, that's what I noticed, but both look so good! They put in a lot of effort and I feel this game should have gotten a later port with more frames of animation.

Your walkthrough made me feel that this game is a piece of cake. Although I found it to be hard. I only manage to beat it once with a lots of practice. They should made weapons selectable. For example if you pick pistol and then you take stake, then both weapons should remain with us. Just press any button and switch between weapons you collected. But instead each new picked up weapons replaces other. I love the way Witches and evil men Laughs🤣😂

The 3DO was a very capable system and even superior to the PS1 in video playback and system memory. Even though 3D games would usually have way lower frame rates compared to PS1 it's 2D graphics and 3D textures usually were higher resolution because of more memory. A good example of this is the in car graphics on Need For Speed. The car interiors look much better on 3DO but the frame rate is noticeably worse. I would of loved to see a 3DO port of Killer Instinct with it's MPEG playback capabilities the stages could of looked just like the arcade.

For a cool character why doesn't he have a cooler name

The original looks so much better, it's not even funny. It has much stronger light and dark contrast, which make the colors really pop, as well as has far more beautiful, vivid colors. That hack looks faded, smokey and not dark enough. I don't know why there's amateur people out there who somehow think they can make a better "remake" or "look" for these awesome classics by just fooling around with the colors.

Of course the SNES is missing a character but does have better looking visuals. Genesis I feel is the one I would play since that is smoother.
