This brings back memories. I worked on a Habitat for Humanity build during my first spring break in college, and it definitely influenced my trajectory as a person. I see you swimming towards the deep end, fellow traveller. 💛🙏🏻

I think it’s pretty easy how to square the experience of crazy nationalist xenophobes who were nice to an Asian foreigner. On one hand, you have how the Democrats and media depict Trump supporters. And on the other, you have what you observed with your own eyes.

Your confusion about why you weren't treated poorly at the Trump rally can easily be corrected by not getting your information from far left sources. Like main stream media

I liked your video! I think your statement is very accurate where the attitude of Harris 'supporters' during the election was really more of a fight against Trump rather than being support for Harris.

This is a great post. Thank you. There is an important video out there from a guy who wore a Harris shirt to a Trump rally and a Trump shirt to a Harris rally. He was viciously attacked at the Harris rally and had honest conversations at the Trump rally.

I am not a supporter of any candidate, but just a reminder: when the enemy knocks on your door, he usually brings a cake with him. So don't be fooled by friendliness and forthcoming actions, in this kind of situations or times like this. Doesn't matter who it is, Trans people, Nazis, or any other ideology, they will all do their best to come in. You only see their true face once they are in. So be careful, who you trust.

Or hear me out..... They had no nefarious intent and are just genuinely nice people.
@Ritermann4 сағат бұрын
@@wetsaapbrehh7839 Not arguing that point at all. Just pointing out, that here is a person trying to find out the true faces of the two party, so to speak, by going right into the beehive. What else would you expect than people having the best times of their lives, being surrounded by their own? They all will be on their best behavior. Try to meet them on the opposite site, to see their true character.

You can understand your confusion by understanding two things -- #1 The Democrats lie -- almost non-stop -- from the leaders, down to the voters, even if only to justify their positions concerning their "feelings" in other words, they will lie to justify how the leadership makes them "feel". Think about it -- the Democrat party are all owned by the super rich and corporations - they talk a good game but never actually solve anything for the people, just the corporations. Yet, even though this is provable, the media have all of them believing that Republicans are for big corporate America, hoarding all the money, etc etc--- when in fact its the Democrats more so. --- Republicans are, - on the other hand, believe inn fair play, believe in the facts, the stats, and the unequivocal reality of human nature. They are also mostly the middle working class instead of the Democrat "super rich, and ignorant poor" class. More times than not, a Democrat really has no understanding of the issue - meaning, they dont know the facts -- but passionately believe their false beliefs. Ronald Reagan said it best " its not that Democrats dont know anything, its just that they know so much, that isnt true" God Bless America.

Trump supporters come from all walks of life, Harris supporters seemingly come from big cities heavily entrenched with identity politics. What us Trump supporters have in common is we love our country and want what’s best for our citizens! There are countless videos of Harris supporters saying the American flag is “racist” and “scary”.

I am always interested in the opinion of outsiders, foreigners, immigrants because, generally speaking, they have no reason to be biased and just say what they see, relay their first hand experiences. I've always suggested to those who were so solidly in one camp to expose themselves to the other side in whatever way they can. The rallies would have been a good way to do that. Thank you for your informative report!

Ridiculous the amount of fear mongering that takes place to. The sir ma'am stuff is especially prevalent in the southern states where we are taught those terms as good manors and respectfulness our entire lives. We are glad you enjoyed your time in our rallies.

I appreciate your observations. I'm interested to know what country you are from, since you said yours, too, is polarized. Democrats have for the last 4 years claimed to be the unifying party. I'm curious how you see the two parties. Which is the most unifying? I'm also curious as to which one best promoted and exemplified genuine freedom of speech since this is a key foundation of our society, if not the key foundation. Also, you said you felt like the only Asian at the Trump rally. But you must factor in the location. Wisconsin is largely a white, European state. In another region of the country, you would have experienced more ethnic diversity. I voted Democrat one time - for Jimmy Carter in 1976. It was a disaster. The Biden/Harris administration has been even worse. Thanks again for your comments.

Why didn't they do the pledge during the Harris rally? Because they don't want to pledge allegiance to a country they despise. They want a whole new country to replace it. ------ You speak English so well and still add subtitles. Thanks!

I understand wanting to be involved in the pledge as a new American but for many people who grew up here, it felt uncomfortable to hear about god and even liberty and justice at times when we may have been practicing other religions or didn’t like the idea of keeping any religion in our daily chants.

Trump supporters tend to be poorer and very much working class. Democratic Party tends to be the party of the rich elites. Trump has a few very rich supporters like Elon Musk, but most wealthy people are Democrats.

Most people are good and nice people. Politics is about selling fear and anger towards the other side. In the USA, both major parties call the other words like "Nazi" and "fascist," despite neither being it.

The Kamala leftists were simply trying to keep you from seeing that the Trump supporters are good people. It could be that they just live in a bubble repeating all kinds of lies about their political rivals and regardless of the truth they will repeat the lies of white nazis, guns at the rally, idiocy. The Secret Service would never allow firearms in the rally. Everything you heard at the Kamala rally were lies as demonstrated by your own experiene.
@Gilburrito9 сағат бұрын
This was a very interesting insight, thank you for your time! I voted for Kamala, but I noticed that Trump was much more clear about his policies and plans for the future like you said. Making his campaign more "for" something than Kamala's, which was more "against" having Trump president elect. I find it interesting because Trumps original winning campaign was sort of against leftists, but framed in a way that was for "making America great again." While the most recent Kamala campaign felt more alarmist than hopeful, not "We're all part of a movement towards something great," but more, "We need to stop the worst possible outcome." Which is a point I think Democrats as a whole are burnt out on, every election is framed as the end of the world if they lose. Which any average joe can tell is an exaggeration, thus less motivation to actually go to the polls.

There is a simple reconciliation there's what you were told and then there's what you actually experienced. When your personal experience is completely polar opposite to what you're being told it is every day clearly you're being lied to.
