I lived in Australia when they discovered that huge greyhound graveyard just out of Bathurst, not far from where i lived. This was the impetus for banning in NSW. Problem is huge litter numbers, most puppies are not going to be champs, so this is a huge problem. There is also sneaky live lure going on. The owners do love and care for their racing dogs, and the dogs love racing, but it would take too much to monitor.
