Maybe some of the inconsistencies about Bender's childhood is because as you said his memories where transfered from one body to another, so what if is that the robot version of reincarnation? And speaking of surnames in many spanish speaking countries people often have two, one from their father and other from their mother. So is likely in his entire name, Bender Bending Rodriguez, Bending is actually his father's surname.

I have this headcanon that Bender's design is a bootstrap paradox. There were so many Benders stealing stuff across history and loitering in a New (New) York cavern that people built up this vague idea of a template Farnsworth used for the "sports utility robot" Bender himself was made from. The fact he's why Old New York got shot down shows while the time code can outright change history, it can also cause history.

In regards to your early address to the contradiction of Bender’s conception, we could make the case that the process of making robots can be done in the factory or is part of the factory line with its own lane. This is plausible due to the owner of the factory belongs to Mom who I wouldn’t put it against her if we found out she orchestrated such a process due to her robots basically being programmed with a sort of enslavement protocol that not all robots can break from.

Hmm, the reason for Bender probably having Rodriguez as a last name probably has to do with him being born in Mexico. In Latin America, people tend to have two last names, the father’s family name and the mother’s family name. I think it meant to symbolize like the unity of two families but I’m not sure. The father’s name goes first so Bending is probably his father’s family name and Rodriguez is his mother’s. Although I could be completely wrong and it is as simple as, he just took mother’s last name cause why not.

Fry is gonna be a boomerang. Of note despite what the wikis claim I think it makes sense that Fry was Mildred's surname. Since the assumed father was her fiance Yancy Sr would've gotten his mother's surname since he was born out of wedlock. This would also allow Minuteman Yancy Fry to actually be a relative

You know I just realised something. I don't think earth is ruled by a unified government. We don't actually see much that points to the US region ruling the whole world all we really know is that it represents the Earth Government which makes me think that Earth is still heavily divided with many smaller countries its just they don't get represented on a larger scale due to being minor places. So places like Mexico, Robo-Hungaria, & the 2 or 3 other random places referenced in the show are likely independent with their own governments but they are in some form represented by the Earth Government. either by the Military alliance or in a UN type way where America has become basically in charge of most things but countries exist to govern themselves much like we see in places like the UK with Northern Ireland, Wales & Scotland having their own governments but sharing a over all government in west minster.

It could be a somewhat dated and offensive joke, where all robots all related to some degree. Robots are comprised mostly of working class citizens. I don't like that idea, but it came to mind. There are higher ranked in society but we're mostly exposed to certain groups. Also, you didn't mention Carol Miller, AKA Mom of Momcorp.
