You should do this test using a decent app for Timelapse on your iPhone. You can shoot raw and other formats with all manual settings, using the right app. Skyflow has what you need, The Moment app works as well, but has some bugs.

I prefer Skyflow over Moment right now as Moment just doesn't export high res files on my phone!

Hey Matthew, I was just asking myself what you can do with the same smartphone when shooting raw photos with a 3rd party app specially made for shooting timelapse on an iPhone. Using the build in app for whatever is never a good idea. What do you think? Might like to test that out too?

I use a paid iOS app called “even longer” which has full manual controls, shoots raw, built in intervalometer and then edit them as you did on the dslr in lrtimelapse. Wayyyyyy better results than timelapse video mode.

@@MatthewVandeputte paid app, with paid subs or one off for pro features, but absolutley jam packed with features and worth it. I'd love to see what you could capture out of it on an iphone as your soo good at timelpase / hyperlapse

It's not pointless. Cellphone cameras are getting better every year... and will eventually reach a point where a full-frame camera will become irrelevant.
