I just love horseradish. (People who usually like mustard also like horseradish) Never thought of adding it in the beef stew. Great idea! Thank you.

I can't make beef stew without adding some celery and garden peas. Thicker, chunkier stew `imo is the best with homemade biscuits.

Does the yogurt you add yourself have to be plain ? I have a little bit of vanilla Greek yogurt - will that be okay ? I’m good with it all being vanilla flavored…..

Vanilla is fine to use if you don't mind the flavor :) Enjoy!

Thank you! I did use my 8-quart for this video, but it works perfectly in the 6-quart as well (I always test in both models for discrepancies!)

i’ve been working so hard on my financial goals, and this week i got an unexpected opportunity to work on a side project that’s going to bring in a ton of extra income. i didn’t plan for it, but it’s exactly what i needed. i’ve been trying to align myself with the energy of abundance, and honestly, i think reading Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane really helped me understand how to do that. now, things are falling into place in ways i didn’t even expect.

so i’ve been thinking a lot about money lately, and out of nowhere, i got this unexpected bonus at work. like, i didn’t even know it was coming, but there it was, a huge check that just appeared. i didn’t even have to ask for it, and honestly, i’ve been feeling like things are just flowing to me. i had seen Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane in a bunch of comments online, so i decided to read it. maybe there’s something to the idea of truly focusing on abundance and letting it come to you

I would like to see this done with a more updated instant pot. With mine, I can set it up with the app to time the cooking the type of cooking and the venting. The venting can be timed and then automatically releases after that time. Other than that, I love the recipe. It’s simple, and I probably eat too much when it’s done.😂
@AMindFullMom2 күн бұрын
I didn't realize there was a model that could time the venting process--that is incredible. I can't believe I missed that. Which model do you have?

I’m definitely trying this but… You use low sodium beef broth then proceed to add salt? This after salting and peppering the roast? 🤔 I found that interesting. 🤣
@AMindFullMom2 күн бұрын
You still need a bit of salt--but it is less than if you used full-sodium beef broth.

Potatoes grown in cold weather can come out dense. Beware. They won’t soften up much even under pressure and after refrigeration they dense back up again. Especially with big heavy russets.

A lot of folks don’t realize what horseradish is or confuse it with radishes or tried it one time straight and it was so hot so they think they don’t like it. There is also horseradish sauce often served with roast beef sandwiches. More kick than mayo. Horseradish is good with beef!

I made this for dinner today using penne instead of spaghetti and doubled the recipe. I'm just wondering why it burned on the bottom (yes I got the burn notice) and wouldn't come up to pressure in the 8 quart? Should I have stirred the mixture once I added the ground beef and sauce? Other than that, it tasted amazing!!!!!! Thank you!!!!
@AMindFullMom2 күн бұрын
8-quart models can be more prone to throwing a burn notice--and sometimes say BURN and then come to pressure without actually burning. It is likely that you didn't scrape off the bottom of the inner pot well after sauteeing the meat. But it is crucial to not stir the sauce into the pasta. It should be broth, noodles, meat, tomato sauce. I hope that helps.
