Hello! I am pretty new to Japanese and I am still learning my Hiragana. What characters are they using when describing the Pokémon's type? I thought it was Hiragana with a different font at first but they are super unrecognizable. Is that Katakana?

It's Hiragana, but very pixelated. So どく is Poison, but the " can be hard to see. The kana is also really small and can make it hard to tell.

I've tried it and no it's not worth it. G2T is good but I personally find Yomininja's OCR to be more accurate.

Yes change your system language to Japanese and then start a new game.

He usually looks for a video having a minimum of 5K before considering making another video. Also he has been working on JLPT kanji and grammar points too. These videos take him a ton of time to make. So I think someday you'll have the full gameplay of this game.
