Hello, ma'am! I'm Shiyan, a bharatanatyam and konnakol enthusiast from Sri Lanka. There are Jathis called TANDAVA SHABDAS which were composed by Vid. D.A. Srinivas sir, a talented mridangam artist in Chennai. Ghatam Karthick sir has also composed TANDAVA SHABDAS and he composed them for a dance drama called SIVAMAYAM. Tandava Shabdas have syllables such as Jagana, Tagana, Ragana, Nagana, Jaganam, Taganam, Raganam, Naganam, Dhumakita, Dhrum, Ringhana, Hunghana, Taghitiri, and etc. Tandava Shabdas were composed to represent the sounds of the instruments used of Shiva's dance. D.A. Srinivas sir composed Tandava Shabdas for the album called Saptha Thandavam, a producton by Madurai R. Muralidaran sir of Chennai. The album has seven Thandavams namely Ananda Thandavam, Oorthva Thandavam, Vijaya Thandavam, Kaliga Thandavam, Uma Thandavam, Sandhya Thandavam, and Samhara Thadavam. Tandava Shabdas or Tandava Shabdams were composed for each these Thandavams. Search 'lord siva conquers apasmara sivamayam dance drama' and you'll get the dance drama scene where Ghatam Karthick sir recites Tandava Shabdas. I also recommend you watching on KZbin so you can know what Tandava Shabdas are. 1.D.A. Srinivas- Rhythm Experiments 5' (a Tandava Shabdas composition composed separately, not for Saptha Thandavam). 2.'Shiva Thandava Shivaratri ‘21 Cameron S. Govender Primeshni Govender Madurai R Muralidharan' (this is actually Oorthva Thandavam) 3. 'Anandha Thandavam' by Pavithra Nagarajan on KZbin. I asked Ghatam Karthick sir about Tandava Shabdas. He said they can be found in NATYASASTRA. Ma'am, I have two humble request... 1. Please search for Tandava Shabdas in Natyasastra and make a video about it. 2. I love to hear a female voice reciting Tandava Shabdas. So if you find Tandava Shabdas in NATYASASTRA, please compose your very own Tandava Shabdas and recite them along with a powerful bharatanatyam performance, mridangam beats, ghatam beats, veena, and bass. Please do these ma'am. I'm asking you to do these because I'm sure you are much interested in NATYASASTRA. 😊😊😊
