People deny climate change because it would risk them not getting a new car and new phone every six months, it would risk taking away their luxury capitalism, it would risk taking away their instant gratification dopamine, they might actually have to wait a reasonable amount of time for a new product and not have 10,000 choices to pick from, they would have to actually have to enjoy things around them instead of what's on the shiny screen right in front of them for once. Denying it and turning a blind eye to it while looking at all the pretty pictures and videos edited with filters and in key locations, let's them ignore the world as it dies around them. One day they will be in petting zoos, petting their own egos while surrounded by electric cages of information edited and censored just for them so they never have to realize what they have done to their own planet and people.

Is this the Silver Version? You know, for old people? Did I suddenly go back in time to when fifteen year old videos have less that 150 comments? It's not a bad idea, frankly. I feel like a lot of people, like me, want to live in the past. You know, this is the kind of future where anybody can make anything they want out of it. I want to live in the past.

I have an easy way of describing the 4th dimension. In the 3rd dimension, the dimension we are in, we can see things in 2D, everything we see with our eyes is a flat "picture". When we see an object, we see a flat object, but it only looks 3d from shadows, light reflections, and the idea that it is 3d from these relative helpers. In the 4th dimension we can see things in 3d, meaning all sides of everything, it is hard to describe but when we see an object, we only see what is facing us, in the 4D, we can see all sides of everything, front, back, under, over, all of it. Now how would we be able to imagine that, well we cant because we are trapped in 3D and thinking outside our dimension is very difficult.

I am 63 years old now, and back in 1979 and beyond, my siblings and I used to watch the great Dr. Carl Sagan’s TV shows on Dhahran’s Channel 2 in Saudi Arabia. His ability to break down complex scientific concepts into captivating, easy-to-understand narratives was remarkable. His unique and tantalizing way of explaining kept viewers of all ages, including us, glued to his episodes. Even decades later, his passion for exploring the universe and sharing knowledge continues to inspire curiosity and wonder.

September 28, 1980 44 years ago the greatest documentary series that was released. "The Shore of the Cosmic Ocean," aired. With it the very first words spoken was, "The cosmos is all that is, or ever was, or ever will be." Thank You Dr. Sagan for this outstanding series. Yes I still have the book.

Those flatlanders must have thought their neighbor was going insane. How would they be able to explain the 3rd dimension in a comprehensible way, just as much as how would someone in the 3rd dimension do with the 4th dimension. These concepts are just difficult to wrap your head around for us 3 Dimensional beings. Which it would take the 3rd dimension to even be able to wrap around anything anways, right??

Today we see extreme and frequent climate events. No-one seems to realize that every delay of action to reach net zero, causes thing to get worse and we have no quick fix. Future generations may have to deal with a living he'll for hundreds of years.

Thank you Dr. Sagan for teaching us, for inspiring us to be curious, for giving us the gift of science, for encouraging us to wonder and give us a reason for being kind to one another and to cherish this beautiful world that surrounds us... And as you said, "to live in the hearts we leave behind is to never die", we will always have you in our hearts... And you will never die.
