Very interesting video on your pen and ink journey! I hope you’re not beating yourself up on changing your mind! I think it’s just fun to collect and then fall in love with the ink and pen combos! I love my pen collection and I don’t have a huge one compared to many. But seeing the ink in the TWSBI barrel is just so fun! I love my Kaweco’s, my Lamy’s, Esterbrook, Pilot Prera, and Sailor too. But the other brands don’t alway have ink in them. For me I love my brass Kaweco which I use with a warm brown ink, my Prera with Cursive Medium nib and Graf Von Faber-Castel Deep Sea. I have had a TWSBI ink with J. Herbin Emerald of Chivor since Christmas and used it sparingly and it so amazingly how it performs! I also love the TWSBI mini and I’m enjoying using the Sailor’s multi-shading ink Kyokkou that has an ethereal purple and grey color. They Robert Oster ink from the Melbourne pen show in the rose color is so devine! How lucky for you!🤩🥳

@@raybuck hi Ray, thank you so much for watching! Yes the Melbourne Team Green is a nice one. The only thing that annoys me about the Moroccan Mint Tea ink is that it only comes in a 20ml bottle and is a little on the expensive side…$1.75 per ml it works out to be. This was so very enjoyable to watch from beginning to end. Thank you, Jayne I am particularly drawn to inks which change colour as it dries or has a different shade depending on the nib or paper used (Rohrer and Klingner Alt-Goldgrun). One of the things I noticed is the marketing of inks. Specifically, the naming of inks such as Rober Oster Peppermint which as you say - tends to be a Christmas ink. Another interesting aspect is the seasons which you mentioned and it being winter where we tend to choose different coloured inks than we do in summer. I've challenged myself to try and pay attention to the colour of the ink/s rather than the name because at the end of the day _*"It is just a green ink"*_. Alas all too often, I get sucked in by the marketing. (Looking at you Wearingeul Ink with your literary titles!) Sorry for such a long comment, Jayne I just thoroughly enjoyed this video so much. Thank you! You made my Sunday.

Really enjoyed seeing the beautiful green ink swatches! Fun to see the ink showing the multicolor and sheening! The color choices are so incredible and fun! Green was not initially my go to ink color. Teal green is my definitely my favorite color!!! I love to use Diamine’s Aurora Borealis the most. Graf Avon Faber-Castell Deep Sea Green I keep always in a pen for writing my envelopes since the ink is wonderful and quite water resistant. Love the Pelikan Edelstein Jade as well for how well it matches my TWSBI rose gold and jade and how nicely it performs. Love using Kyo No Oto Kokeiro no.3 which is a very olive green. A very unique color, but one I like journaling with and flows and shades nicely! I love celadon pottery and got the beautiful Kokeiro no. 7 which translates to secret color, but it is such a dry ink I don’t use it much. I love to hear about inks that perform well and have interesting properties! I too, love the J. Herbin Emerald of Chivor!
