For what it is worth, I faced Jeff Thompson in the cricket nets during a Physical Education class at Punchbowl Boys High School in the 1960s. He frightened the shit out of me even though he didn't raise a sweat.

Pragyan Ojha is billion times better bowler than Malcolm Marshall. Pragyan Ojha would have taken more than 800 wickets which Malcolm Marshall couldn't do.

Even for sachin, it is very difficult to face 4 horsemen of windies. U can't compare Bret Lee, akhatar, macgrath etc with those 4 horsemen Roberts, holding, garner & marshall.

Waqar was named among the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1992 but Imran Khan didn't want him to take the limelight of world cup. Also Waqar is the only bowler to have taken 5 wickets in an innings in 3 consecutive One Day International matches. Ambrose, McGrath, Warn, Murlidharan, Anderson, Stein, Bhumra and all else couldn't do that

The amount of effort, technique, strength, flexibility and skill required to bowl 160kph is insane. That is why we rarely see anyone bowl that quick. To believe bowlers in the past like Tyson, Larwood or even Thompson could bowl at this speed is ridiculous.

Bevan was 1.0 and Hussey was 2.0 of finishers for Aus. Both played down the order and consistently finished games. They weren’t allowed many failures.

TOO MANY CAPTIONS -- and too LESS of the Action 👎👎 Video could've been made far more watchable to do justice for "Crofty"....

@@CricketStories007 hope yu dint take it the wrong way .. I always wanted to see "Crofty" -- arguably the MOST feared bowler among them (possibly Joel Big-Bird was a rival) -- and growing up I always "hated" him in particular for getting my "heroes" out in such a "brutal" 😁manner !! Its a shame that his career ended prematurely - lured by $$$ in Apartheid South Africa... THanks for your efforts -- best wishes! 👍

Lance had sheer quality but lacked consistency. Also as years paced by his performance deteriorated massively. Whereas Bevan was too consistent in most of his phase careers and was known for controlled aggression with likes of maturity and was a wall of middle order .He also had some great partnership with tail ending batsments
