Venoms arnt really about how they shoot in my opinion , of course they did excellent tuning work that was detrimental to how the gun shot and was way ahead of it’s time and is a staple of what tuners do now, but it was the customisation of what they did to a plain and let’s face it, old German boring gun that set them aside. The vantage stock and the Hunter thumbhole, the Hornet later on These guns are works of art. Beautiful English things that only an Englishman can make. We should be proud of what Steve and the boys did back then and what a lot of boys are doing now . I love thar OG 35 venom on the left in the tyrolean but for me the ISP / Edward’s one of Gareth’s wins everytime Absolute modern classic Well done boys wicked vid

From a rather amateur start to now you have come on remarkably - your personalities have taken a while to shine but I feel you are both more comfortable in front of the camera and this really shows you both at your best. Hi, firstly thanks for producing the great content. I have a content request for you. In a previous video discussing pellet testing, a short range method was mentioned using a vice. I’ve been experimenting with this method using a plastic 3D printed tripod vice mounted on a butler style gun rest. I would be very interested is seeing the method you described, and an understanding how many shots you would take, and what spread of impact point you would use to make a decision upon pellet compatibility. I found it quite amusing when I started getting into air rifles a couple of months ago, I was googling shops and ranges and what not in my local area. Turns out I'm about 100 yards from Ripley rifles :D Bit out of my price range at the moment though. Maybe one day.

The Venoms that fetch the most money are the ones that are aesthetically pleasing-custom stock, engraving, custom barrels, and so on. A Venom-tuned rifle with busted internals is just a brick with a Venom sticker. Within the spirit of the Venom guys, they made these modifications to improve the rifles both functionally and aesthetically. It’s hard to believe they wouldn’t want you to restore or upgrade the rifle as needed to keep it performing superbly. So, if the person who now owns the Venom trademark swaps the internals, it’s still considered an original Venom because he owns the name? But if someone else does it, it’s not original anymore? That’s just silly. Great debate tho. Loved it.

I have two Diana n, TEC guns,350 premium and Ar8 the 350 is amazing no mechanical noise very powerful very accurate not pellet picky at all with a short sweet kick and with the light hair trigger out of the box I love it better than my HW rekord, Ar8 is hard to clock loud with more power than 350 and very harsh fiering cycle

Worst one they do is the 57, 97s are best underleaver, best break barrel is this 95, mine has a reflex moderator, 15ft/lb very very accurate using FTTs 14.6 grain.

And setting the crosshairs vertically in relation to the barrel - essential but no mention?????. When setting eye relief, mount the rifle with your eye closed and find the most natural, repeatable, position - then move the scope accordingly. C'mon guys, you are improving with each episode but you are both far better than this video.

How about a video on the Sussex Armoury leading through to the Air Arms early rifles? I have the old Sussex Armoury Woodsman side lever which would lead nicely to talking about and showing the Air Arms Khamsin and Camargue. Another would be leading upto ie the Falcon air rifles, the Titan and earlier through to the Falcon dream gun the T-Bird. Who like Sussex Armoury are ownwed/taken over by Air Arms.
