Most put the definition at 100 meters or 330 feet to be considered a sky scraper. It used to be 20 stories. There’s no set standard for the definition.

You left out the crime, the trash, the horrible smell, the absurd taxes, the meth heads and fentanyl addicts walking around like zombies. Oh, and let's not forget the open air contact high you get from the weed being smoked all over the place. I'm not against weed, but come on. This video would have made sense twenty years or so. Now it's just a ishh hole.

Nice update on your Let’s Meet…series. I hope to take my family to Philadelphia to visit someday and see all the sites. Hey, did you know that this new version has almost as many views in one week than your original Let’s Meet Philly garnered in 3 years? That should make you feel pretty good about your KZbin footprint! Personally I really enjoy checking in every few weeks to see what you’ve added. Last year was a year of surprises. I think the three that stand out were Detroit, Baltimore and especially St. Louis. These all seem to be dismissed as former great cities but wow, you really show that they are still full of beautiful sights and sounds. Thanks again for all your devotion to this channel and hard work. Cant wait to see where you take us in 2025. From David in Houston, Texas.

Lived just north of BR for a year in high school. Had already been down there quite a bit because of family. Sorry to say it's kind of a shithole overall.

Why do under thirty somethings all refuse to pronounce any "t" in the middle of a word? Mah (g) hans instead of moun tains. Do you know how stupid that sounds. Where did they learn this...??? Scottish brogue?

You mentioned the Fairmount Waterworks "Event Center," but not the Waterworks museum underneath. It is free and an 1815 historic water pumping station. Philadelphia had the first in-home water service in the U.S. (1801) at another location. Art Museum Hill was the site of the reservoir.

I'm from Massachusetts. I don't think that it's too much of an exaggeration to say that Pennsylvania is more like Haiti than Massachusetts and that Philadelphia is more like Port-au-Prince than Boston.

One of the worst cities geographically in the country. The state line and Missouri River really messes up the entire metropolitan area. None of the advantages of the North or South with the WORST aspects of both. Bad weather most of the time with horrid levels of heat and humidity, worse than many areas of the South. Bad winter weather with too much wind and dry air. Taxes that are too high for garbage infrastructure and terrible schools. Unfriendly cliquish locals and absolutely terrible for single people. Far from anywhere else desirable for many hours in any direction, and not enough direct flights to many other cities.

Not a fan of SLC. Air pollution is bad in winter. I -15 corridor is hideous. Industrial, warehouse greet you when driving south. The skyline isn't very inspiring. The Great Salt Lake is drying up. The sprawl is tedious. I'll pass.

It the hidden gem of large cities. It was the birth place of the American city and still acts as though it is a small town. The city of neighborhoods. It was a world class city and has since fell to the mismanagement of its politicians. But if there were ever a city project worth the money, Philly would be it. The cost of living is doable and there is so much American historical value and culture.

When talking about the gentleman’s agreement, you should’ve mentioned the PSFS sign. The sign was so famous to the city before the agreement broke, that they turned it into a national monument. The sign can not be removed, and is now maintained by the building, even though that company no longer exists!
