One of the reasons i love my airflow seat cover. The structure lets the water just keep on going so it doesn't pool. Think mine is called airflow but similar brand is coolcovers.

Wouldn't help the crotch puddles though I'd imagine😆
@laggmonkei6 ай бұрын
@@thelikeablerider8800 I think it would actually. It's a kinda mesh structure so air and water gets trough just fine underneath you and since the air is moving you don't get the ye old sweaty crotch either. So unless your gathering water ontop of your crotch... :P It's absolutely amazing in the summer and when it gets abit cold i just whack on the heated seat and haven't noticed any problems with having a cold bum either.

Well, at least you didn’t book a tour on the open top bus 😆! Now it might seem counter intuitive, but I find using “cool covers” on the seat ends up being warmer because the rain water drains off and doesn’t leave you sitting in cold “pond water” 😉. Now if someone has the solution for dry gloves and heated grips, I’m all ears 🤨!

Welcome to the shittest weather we’ve had for years! I did my first short tour of Wales a month ago and yes, all small villages are 20mph but in between it’s 50 or 60. Heading back on the last day the weather went from sunshine to “end of time” rain like I was spat out of Wales. Still loved my two days riding there and there must be routes that avoid some of the 20mph villages..

Nice to see you on the road again. Down here in the 'sunny' South West it started raining about November and finally packed it in during May... I sh*t you not. As for cars crawling along. I live a stone's throw from Cheddar Gorge and have never figured out why people try to drive through the gorge while trying to look at it. I mean they can't see 95% of the thing because they have a roof! Just got home from a week riding in North Wales.... that 20mph thing quickly gets old.

@@thelikeablerider8800 You will be getting 30kph zones in German cities as well. Get over the knee jerk opposition and you will find joining the rest of the world is a good thing (I was one of the knee-jerks!). At 30kph, traffic flows more steadily, less stop and start. Also nicer for pedestrians, residents, kids, tourism. On your travels, ask people in the areas with long-established 30kph zones and the only few who complain are the BMW drivers who overtake in school zones "because freedom"

@yorkshireperson6 ай бұрын
20 zones are also in some of England, they are so dangerous on a bike, ive found that if I'm doing 20ish I'm guaranteed to have a car or van up my backside all the way through. What is it with some car drivers where they will do 40 amywhere? 40 in the 60 but then also 40 in the 20/30! 🤯
