I feel very old when I see guests struggling with c. 19th handwriting. The first letter was in a beautifully regular hand, and only a few letter forms seemed the slightest bit unusual. And then I realise I learned to write (and read) so long ago that italic writing still seems radical to me. I suppose also my own handwriting was so appallingly ill-formed that I got a lot of practice reading really bad stuff. Makes you realise how much everyday skills and knowledge erode. Mind you, the second one is awful, and some of it would be hard even without the bleed-through.

You can't just tease a salt mine like that! Visit, please!

Objectivity is still my favorite Brady channel. I wish it were better known, but at least the excellent episodes will always be here for people to discover.
