This was almost like watching a Movie about 4 Gods that were insanely powerfull that the Hero was trying to defeat (using banlists lol) with at the end when the the last 2 Gods were almost defeted, they Combined to form the Ultimate Tier 0 God, but then the Hero used the power of friendship to hit the most insane blow ever which finaly defeted them!! Insane to think that 3 of these decks now even got support and all of them are almost at full power but don't even stand a chance against todays Meta lol

I absolutely love your content and so I hate to see such long breaks between uploads but I also want you to enjoy the video making process so please take the time you need in really being able to enjoy this. Honestly I've felt all these ways about other games. The biggest examples being Destiny and Super Smash Bros. I played those games up to and past burnout to the point where i just can't enjoy them anymore. Both games have other problems and things that compounded over time and I just stopped caring after a certain point. I'm glad you can still find enjoyment in yugioh somewhere, because I know how it feels to fall out of a hobby you care a lot about.

Honestly since i tried other tcgs ygo has felt much MUCH more like a stressfest Its not fun to try and play the game qnd get told "Syke! I go first and setup a board you cant break" Or "I got 3 boardbreakers and 2 insulated 1 card combos into otk" Being either in the receiving hand or the giver its just not fun for me Wich is sad cuz i liked a lot this game over the years but it just became unbearable to play, With most decks being hella pricey and staples that costs an arm and a leg

i quite yugioh years ago and picked up coin collecting because well why waste my time if my hobby cost pennies one thing that i hated the most was all the changes they did then once links were in the picture i looked at my friends and said im done i just cant deal with another new format this is beyond to much people even my friends were like this isnt even fun anymore then we just stopped playing

I have been on a break since poplar released, I knew that I wouldn't enjoy this format since I saw what was coming from the OCG and I didn't want to leave this game with hate so I decided to put it on hold till a better meta came along. It has been quite refreshing to get into other hobbies, the love and the itch is still there but I don't want it tarnished by such a dog shit meta, maybe one day the format can get better after a lot of banlists.

I play a game because it's fun. I stopped playing yugioh because I was no longer having fun.

Issue is that you just cant go back and play it, there are so many timeframes with different legalities, even on the same banlist theres a debate whether megatin promos (nib, drnm, shifter) should be played There is just no real comsensus, and the latter timeframe you pick, the more sky striker orcust obnoxious becomes

I messed up and lost a long comment comparing Trap Cards to instants in Magic the Gathering. Suffice to say, I think Yugioh’s strongest element was the Trap Card, and unfortunately they’ve fallen by the wayside. Maybe at some point I’ll rewrite that comment, but… I just don’t want to spend that time right now.

I still remember how some people were so board of the meta decks that people pushed playing (non ironically) dark magicians because navigation could summon kycoo the ghost destroyer from deck which stopped orcust from banishing. Obviously this “meta revolution”failed cause they could just run over kycoo and just end without the counter on board since sky striker orcust was already a thing and I don’t think this ‘rogue deck’ got even a regional top 🤣. Think it was such a niche but vocal joke that six samurai x1 made a deck profile for it
