Impressive line-up. As a retired advanced practice nurse with years of experience in Cardiovascular (Open Heart) Intensive Care, I'm surprised at how little mechanical hearts have evolved compared to what one might expect. This technology first appeared in the late 1940s, and was first used in a human during surgery on July 2, 1952. The Jarvik-7, successfully implanted in 1982, was a milestone, yet none have operated independently from external machines. While these devices have greatly extended the bridge to transplant periods, a fully independent mechanical heart is still not available. However, advancements in bio-produced tissue are promising, and we may soon see technology that can entirely replace the heart's function.

It's not a competition I just want to see the Best Products. I want to see more evidence of the Working Robots. Like walking in BestBuy and The Robot helps with the TV hook up. The reason this is Not being accepted is because Most know it's going to be like Cars most can't afford. It's Stupid advertising to costumers that don't exist. Have to find the Target audience. Poor people can't afford this shit and the company will go bankrupt. When this Becomes more available removing the Scammers, price gouge milking max draining life like a parasite, are gone then it will be everywhere.

Please don’t bring politics into science/tech groups:) and why is it that these “voiceover” videos you make are so dodgy? At times you clearly don’t talk about what it actually showing????? I too will unsubscribe if you get lazy / political. Thanks.
@joelhubeny7554Күн бұрын
Your stupid politics is all about the World Business. Selling Guns and weapons new Tech for war. This right now with China / USA is all about the semiconductors in Taiwan. Intel made a bad move USA has been causing trouble since today through old times. IBM controlled the concentration Eugenics nazi camps.

Why is it hard to believe politicians bend the truth. This is true of both sides. Wouldn’t you welcome a service that alerts you when someone is fibbing? I sure would. But I’m not entrenched in either party anymore so I don’t suffer from your cognitive dissonance.

People (humans) don't think ahead. Sure robots with legs are cool and look like us. But can you imagine the SOUND that these make when walking by? That sound will BE SO UTTERLY IRRITATING that people will SWITCH THEM OFF. That while wheelchair have developed to a point where you can't hear them drive by.
@IamSavoiiMusic2 күн бұрын
@11:29 he calls it a 'robut'. 😂😂😂 But seriously this industry that makes electro-mechanical robots that either take over human tasks or incorporate with existing human tasks need to stop focusing on making humanoid type robots. Robots don't need to have two legs, they don't need to have two arms, they don't need to have one head. This is the glaringly obvious waste of development money in this industry. Those that figure this out and whom angle their development more towards function and less towards humanoid will be the first companies to have success. Humanoid style robots with an equivalent AI to that of a human is so amazingly far off that any work that's done on that now, while important as a building block, will not net results in any 10, 20 or even 50 year timeline. That's right folks we are way more than 50 years away from AI working as a humanoid robot. What companies need to do, if they're smart and have a vision for the next 10 to 20 years, is focus on functionality. So that means stop focusing on legs and human heads and start focusing on tracks, multiple legs, wheels, multi-physical functios and FAR less humanoid form, and more functional to the environment form. You want to slap a wig and a silly little head on it with googly eyes? Go ahead. The point is these companies are wasting their money thinking they're going to develop something to the market but yet there are generationally back from ever even being close to that point. Generationally. To those companies that want to actually apply something in the market go with function and stray as far away from humanoid as possible. That opens up a world of possibilities from an engineering perspective. You're welcome.

Il faudrait une condition de déblocage supplémentaire dans les participations aux bénéfices pour pouvoir acheter ces robots
@kristinaF543 күн бұрын
No, they're leased (rented) not purchased, the manufacturer still owns them. That's the business model being proposed because purchase cost is far too high, especially if a firm needs ten thousand or hundred thousand robots and then in 5 years time they're obsolete because a new more advanced model was developed.

I'm Japan and I'm a clerk at a convenience store. There are Chinese employees, but they are on par with Japan. I don't say that it is up to the ability to communicate, but the basic work is How many more years will convenience store clerk robots be able to do it? Do you think you can do it? Then, it seems that jobs in the convenience sto re industry, which originated in Japan, including myself, will decline.
@kristinaF543 күн бұрын
Actually all jobs (from farmers, store workers to doctors) will decline as a.i. (inside these robots) gets more versatile and smarter. The only job not being recorded for a.i. learning/training is plumbing, so plumbers will probably be the last jobs to get replaced by robots in First World countries.
