As a recovering early 2000s NYC fixed gear psychopath, I needed to hear this.

A lotta cool chill vibes here; love the sentiment and video! I really enjoy my fixed gear, politely.

Hello I get pain on my left sit bone every time I ride. Even after a bike fit> Any recomendations?

Mountain Mary is pretty reasonable on a road bike and a nice climb. There are two "Keim Road Climb" Strava segments. The one that is actually on Keim Rd. is about 2.9 miles long is mostly gravel but never gets insanely steep and is reasonable for a road bike. The one that is on Heiligs School Rd. I have never done but apparently peaks at a ridiculous 27.7%.

That was not a super helpful video. Just a clip to get people to see bike fitters.

*Looked at a lot of options for getting my **Latest.Bike** . Great find in SAVA. Super light, nice components, really good value as it comes with many options only found in much higher priced bikes.*

If you have to drive your bike to a place then it isn't very bikeable. Most downtowns and the tourist part of most cities are bike and pedestrian friendly. The rest of San Antonio (and all of Texas that I have seen) is actively hostile to bikers and walkers. The motto seems to be "own a car or die".
@evanshively12942 жыл бұрын
100% accurate. San Antonio is rated in the bottom 50 cities for bikeability. At least Austin is a bit better

Great clip. We are getting into the cold period and indoor trainer. There is where I have my problem. After about an hour the numbness and pain starts. And it's well you know where I guess. I have been making so many alterations but still the same. Help what's the solution?
@billfrigo7602 Жыл бұрын
You move around far less on a trainer than out on the road on a bike. You need to change your position throughout the ride on the trainer; stand up, change grips, etc.
