Good question, I believe so, as it's in the National forest. Although, I would leash the dog and be careful around livestock (Horses) and wild animals (There are supposed to be mountain lions in this area).

This video and others like it are under appreciated due to the filming of the entire trip. Meaning, setting up the camera to film your ingress and egress on the trail and so on. The trekking and back trekking to retrieve the camera. It's almost like hiking that trail twice. I am totally thankful for the work that you've put into this video for us. I live here in Idaho and have been there yet, but maybe next year I can. Thank you!!!

Just be ready for a long drive on a rough road! It's a great place, but I read it gets so few visitors due to being so far off the beaten path. My trip to the Sawtooths a few years prior, met with seeing people at all the camps!

Depends. I think if you leash up near the cliffs, your ok. I've done hiking and events in the gorge for at least 15-20 years. That being the case, there are a few good loops. Thing is, they have alot of creek crossings. So, the weather is important in the gorge as well. I did a winter hike (This year), it was snow on the way in. Then it warmed up and rained. So it was a foot or more of water in a creek crossing. That's also the case in summer. Late fall will have some good colors coming in (Maybe mid to late October).

Excellent. Regarding using old, outdated bear spray for training, I did that with outdated bear spray, which was far less newer than your outdated bear spray. Give it a try, but mine sprayed no more than five to six feet. Not the best experience!!!

It will get wet, but since its fleece your dog will start to dry it some with body heat. I think if its extremely cold, it may frost up (Although I've never seen that in even single digits).

the snow peaks you have have visible protuding welding points inside the mug wall? I have noticed that the ones 450 single wall I bought from Amazon have not any welding points protruding but the ones I bought from Taobao china has many protruding welding points inside, Now I am beginning to think the Taobao ones(like yours)are fake and made in china, because the real ones should not have any bad protruding welding points inside the mug wall and they shoul be made in Japan!

Well dad gum man. Just get a g19 if you like a thicker and longer grip. You’ll be thrilled to death. The whole idea of a ccw is conceal ability. I have both but the 43x can never take the place of the 43 in my opinion because I can make the 43 bigger with mag extensions but you’ll never make the 43x smaller.

🤣🤣 rain - snow - freezing - thawing - mud - rain - sunshine for an hour - rain again!! That’s the forecast for winter camp 2023 . 🤣🤣 even if it had been cold the whole time(if your gear is like mine) you’d still have a full day of drying out from the frosted condensation on the inside of the tent. A 6-round mag isn't enough ammo??? What gun battles are you getting into? Ever hear of the rule of 3's? Or that revolvers for concealed carry have 5 or 6 rounds? Or that the 1911 has a 7-round mag (6 rounds for compact models)? For civilian concealed carry a 6-round mag is more than sufficient! All that a high capacity mag does is make the gun heavier and harder to conceal. If you want more rounds, carry a spare mag on the other side to equalize the weight on your belt/body. If you're in a defensive encounter where you need more than the 6+1 rounds plus a spare mag, extra rounds in the gun isn't going to save you. You're a clueless idiot!

You are posting a how to video that involves material that someone MAY actually use thinking they learned "a proper" technique. I would strongly suggest you take this video down. Reevaluate and reshoot if you feel the need. The granny knot alone could literally kill someone and that's entirely on you. You'll never know about it, you'll never hear about it......... Toaks is made in China. Snow Peak is made in Japan. That speaks for itself.

And what does it say? You can clearly see that it's a perfectly decent quality cup. What does the Snow Peak have that the Toaks doesn't? A little less weight? If they are the same capacity and the same dimensions that can really only come from using less materials. So perhaps the Snow Peak is thinner walled. Personally I have bought the Lixada versions. Exactly the same item as the Toaks, several different brands by the generic titanium items and put their own branding on them, just about 30% cheaper. The Snow Peak has nothing to offer for it excessive price, made in Japan or not.
