Winter Camp 22', Red River Gorge, Ky.

COAR heads down south with the boys for winter camp 2022. The Red River Gorge is known for many things, but winter camping isn't usually one of them. The first day was sunny, 43 degrees with snow on the ground (In other words, perfect). But day day two met with warmer weather, rain, melting snow and swollen creaks! Nothing like being soak and wet!

🤣🤣 rain - snow - freezing - thawing - mud - rain - sunshine for an hour - rain again!! That’s the forecast for winter camp 2023 . 🤣🤣 even if it had been cold the whole time(if your gear is like mine) you’d still have a full day of drying out from the frosted condensation on the inside of the tent. I don’t know why we do it ? But it sure is fun! Enjoyed watching ! Stay safe ! Thanks for sharing ! 👍

It was the creek crossings that get to you. Not as cold, but really wet. If we had done the original route, it could have been dicey. Thanks for watching!

I’m more of a glamper, but I sure do like watching how other people camp. Looks like fun even if it was cold!
