Yes, these settings would apply well on the Hero 12 and should get the same, good results.

@@GreatDayForAHike Interesting though that on a gopro12 with hypersmooth on there is not really any ghosting/blur when it got a bit darker. Maybe the 13 can deal with that better?

@@GreatDayForAHikemaybe but I would say it’s because it’s on rails. In set speak in Hollywood, “on rails” is used literally to shoot scenes with very little shake. A version of steady cam and seen in many movies especially Coen brothers films and Wes Anderson, & many others. Smooth sailing on rails vs walking or running.

@babyboy1971 my shutter speed was also fast enough to prevent any jitter or ghosting. Shutter speed was probably 1/240 - 1/960 during most of this filming (shutter speed was set to Auto).

I personally like the way the footage looks using the Linear or Linear+ lens on the GoPro Hero 12 vs the Dewarp lens on the Action 4. Both are great cameras though.
