I bought my beautiful 2000 GS300 8 yrs ago. Best car I ever owned. Bought it with 200k with a ton of service records. She has 282k now. Everything works great except 2 door lock actuators. I do all the service work myself. Don’t trust any shops at all. Gas mileage to me isn’t bad at all. You are correct a 430 or 400 is almost the same from every thing I have read. What I find most concerning is the gradual degradation of civil honor, the respect Americans hold for their fellow citizens under the American system. People and companies exploit one another for cash, the financially disadvantaged of the country are labeled "weaklings" and are left to suffer, using any method of transportation besides a >$1000 car is considered trashy (those are just from the top of my head)... It's especially true in politics. A political disagreement is now a legitimate reason to despise a fellow American. Those who did not vote for or do not support a ruling party are labelled enemies of American civilization by said party. Laws are passed for the express purpose of putting down the other side (winning) and declaring their views invalid in society. We have now had a president who refused to attend the inauguration of his successor to appease his supporters in the way of a lie. We do not care for the American populace's well-being, only our own. I’m having a hard time with fat loss. Not doing much weights or heavy ones. Mostly body exercises, and dieting. Yet in a week I’ve put on 9lbs? And I haven’t been eating crap. A daily intake is about 1500 at most. Yesterday I had. Egg, protein bar, coffee. Can of tuna. Rice and 3 eggs. Apple, orange and banana. 4 haribo candy. I don’t think I was actually close to 1500 calories maybe 1000. What is my issue? As I don’t think I’m putting on muscle. I’m doing about 100 push ups, sit ups and squats then 60 leg raises, crunches 4 days a week. With some 15lbs dumbbells exercises. I’m 29, 5’10 and about 192Lbs. And my fat sits around my stomach.
@studentofphysicalculture4 ай бұрын
@@kylethedalek I can't say for certain what your issue is. 1k calories and even 1500 is very low for a male. I probably consume 3k and still stay around 145lb. That being said I recommend walking between 5k and 10k steps a day whenever possible. I also recommend considering trying kettlebells because it's a good compromise between cardio and strength and will burn a good amount of calories and aid in putting on muscle. In your case I think lifting weights ie kettlebell etc plus walking will have a bigger effect in recomping your body than strictly bodyweight exercises. Also Make sure your sleep and life stress factors are in order.

Those are still very impressive numbers for your frame and I understand where you are coming from with the 2xBw squat and 2.5bw dl standart. Ive never trained with kettlebells (except the one i have in my backack for weighted calisthenics) so i dont quite understand how they are different than an equally heavy loaded dumbell. Anyway, interesting video, not too long nor too short and a nice point of view. Ultimately the right way is the one that makes you feel good while being active.
@studentofphysicalculture5 ай бұрын
Kettlebells are a more offset load because of the distance between the handle and the weight. This makes a lighter weight feel heavier compared to a dumbbell. They also offer a ballistic element compared to other tools. Just keep at it and you'll hit those numbers if that's your goal.

@@mushussocialmadnesss1613 It has its pros and cons. I just think people overestimate the actual load necessary to live a good life. You don't have to squat 315lb to be healthy. I'm all for strength but in the minimum effective dose.
@perman075 ай бұрын
I think your misinterpreting what's going on. Heavy squats are potent, and the after effects interfere with lower body training after your squats for like the next day. Which is a programming issue, not a squats don't work issue. Long runs, hard sports practice or hard interval training present similar challenges to lower body training afterwards. Which is why proper hybrid athletes are weaker than proper lifters and slower than proper runners. You can't have it all. Now, I will agree being strong with bb back squats can be hard to combine with other things, and that dropping them might make sense in a lot of cases programming wise. But that's due to how awesome they are and should rather be hailed as evidence of their potency.

This sounds like your strength outgrew your program and the recovery time has gone up as a result. The same will happen as you get stronger in other exercises. I think the new exercises "feel" better because the weights are lighter and you're too strong for them. If your personal goals are better met with a different exercise set, then I would agree that squats are overrated (and in general, people can over rely on them). I just can't think of many strength goals that are not well supported by **some** barbell back squat training (with the very rare maximal effort set once you are beyond the beginner phase). That said, if you enjoy other things more then do them. The most best lifting program is what gets people into the gym and not what people fantasize about in lieu of going to the gym.
