I can tie a knot in my hoodie as tight as I can and my B&G Halo can untie ut in 30 seconds with his beak

My B&G n3ver drinks water during the day! I always tell my wife somethings wrong with him, but we have had him 9 years and he's very healthy. He dips pellets in his water in cage at night so guess he gets it there and food water content.

Is it okay to have only one sun conure if I would provide it with enough social interaction with me instead of another bird? The internet isn't clear about that when I search it up. And if it is possible, how much time should I spend with the bird?

I lost my beloved Sun Conure, Mango today. He'd been ill for a week and the vet had said he had a tumour and his kidneys were failing. He rallied last night, went for a climb round his cage, had a huge feed and seemed a lot better. I came down this morning and he had passed away in his roosting box. I got him as a chick in 2002 and he's been my constant companion since. I have 8 other birds, but what I notice now is how quiet it is. No more screeching, happy chuntering and other funny noises. No more loud warnings and no threatening any visitor who might possibly pose a threat until he was happy that they didn't. And no more long country walks on my shoulder (he could fly, but was so bonded, he'd never leave me). No more cuddles and head scratches that would only end when one of us died of old age if he had had his way. He was simply wonderful and if I'd paid ten times much for him, I'd still say I got the bargain of a lifetime. To sum him up, I'd say loud, loyal and loving. Anyone lucky enough to share their life with a Sun Conure is richer by far than Elon Musk.

I am glad you addressed non-stock cookware. While some people can choose to avoid it altogether, some of us who live with other people cannot avoid it. My 20-year-old Sun Conure and I live with my elderly parents. I avoid using a nonstick when I am making anything, but my mother will absolutely not part with a couple of her non-stock pots because "they are easier to cook with." I have told her what can happen and have even given her literature to read that I got form my avian vet. I can't seem to win the fight on it, so at this point, I am literally praying that my parrot doesn't drop dead from the effects. If you have any useful tips for me to keep her safe, I would appreciate it.

What kind of birds are those?

We are adopting our first Sun Conure next week. He was being rehomed the family were told to get rid of him since they are in an apartment. Before them he was at a rescue. I’ve had other birds but never a conure though I’m quite excited as I been wanting a conure for many years.
