Awesome. This did the trick for me! I bought a Japanese import Saturn from ebay. The seller said the CD reader wasn't working, but, he included a Saroo cartridge + an SD card packed full of games, so I was cool with it. Getting the CD to work was a nice bonus though.

Press any button" followed by "An error has occured" turn the power off or something. I tried changing the battery just in case, but the problem really seems to be my faulty recapping. Among those who failed, has anyone tried starting over? Is it worth it?

The connection diagram for the iron tips are wrong. You didn't connected at all the thermocouple pin from the tip to connector

Hello friend, i have a problem only with R button, do you know how can i fix it?

Was this problem ever fixed? I had the same thing when I changed the cr2032 to a new one. P1 would not register the right input, I then turned it off and tried p2 side and all inputs worked fine on the system settings. I kept reinserting it back onto the p1 port and it started working again. Not sure what the deal was.

That soldering station is so... Mental LOL Doesn't the grounding you just did cause a lot of issues with C245 tips? it seems like you didn't ground the actual tip on the JBC

c245 is 24v or 12v im confuse.

I got a gamecube that the laswer assembly lights and tries to seek to read the disc but the drive don't spin. I think it's bad caps I used a multimeter on the disc spindle motor and the cable seems fine. The gamecube was made during the capacitor plague era so it's likely faulty caps that need replacement I ordered a kit from console 5 and hoping once I get it and the board re-capped it will work again. The console I got was in rough shape in someones attic layered in dust with a stuck reset and eject button but i cleaned that all up and it's closing properly again and the console powers on just no spin with the disc motor and (no disc) message.

There's one of these for 7usd 6 hours south from me. I should ask my cousin to bring it to me lol. I have absolutely no space but why not 😅

Why don't use Aixun T12 handle how is the quality? There is also a OSS T12-X handle any comments on these? Any other quality handles?

Hey, so I just got my hands on the OG Xbox. It was working fine and playing games until it started lagging really bad and so I thought it was overheating or something. I powered it off and to let it cool. Again because I thought it might need it. When I tried to power it back on the thing wouldn’t open the disc drive and I got an error screen saying I needed to send it in for maintenance. It pulled an error 11. I took it apart and cleaned everything. Motherboard and such. Then I took apart the disc drive and cleaned it as well as replaced the drive belt as well as check for continuity and retinned the solder points. Sadly not positive result. Still getting the same error. Do you think my disc drive circuit board died?

The one thing I can add is if you use a thin needle nose pliers you can adjust the laser and see what your doing as opposed to the screwdriver.

They are garbade if you compare their Performance in Real life. I have both and the original get the solder flowing much faster at the same temperature

I've seen some review about Aixun t3a voltage leak with grounded boards, current goes up to 1 amp through the tip and to the board you are soldering with temperature spikes (can clearly be seen in Tony359 videos about the t3a station) and was wandering if this xpg controller has the same flaws before buying all the components. Have you ever measured it?
