New sub so I hope you upload again soon! I love my snails. I'm glad you said Bladder snails breed without being overfed as no one believes me! Rabbit snails are thriving in one neocaridina tank but in all the others they die! Don't know why but I don't question it.

There are leeches that kill snails specifically- I had a tank that my mystery snails died suddenly and it was a snail leech. Eek!

One day I saw the population of my cherry shrimp had tripled overnight. They live with crayfish, a crab, and a lekko, so this should be interesting.

I have seed shrimp in my cherry shrimp tank. I panicked thinking they were scuds, but now I’m convinced they are seed shrimp. Hope they are safe for my shrimplets that are going to be dropped any day now.

First time I saw a scud I did not think it was cute. I thought it looked like a crack head running from plant to plant before diving in them. What's my rasboras refused to eat him.

I really dont like my floating plants and baby shrimp combination. They grow really fast and everytime i got a thick layer. You need to scoop a few days and lose a lot of babyshrimps when you take the floating plant out.

Hydra were killed by goat safeguard dewormer, use a dose you can find online, kills them quickly and nothing else. Works excellent! Also had Scutariella Japonic, flatworm on top of shrimp keeps them from molting and can kill. It killed them as well. It was safe for all creatures except the parasites and hydra.

I really wish the lighting weren’t so funky in this video because it’s been one of the best ones I can find to compare all the different uncommon mosses but I can hardly see any of them because it keeps going super dark 🥲 any chance you can make a new moss video? I just got a giant box of different mosses from someone online and I’m trying to ID all the different types!

Very informative video, thanks! Also, it is very true for everything you mentioned. I experienced the same. One suggestion, though: instead of resetting the tank, i would suggest adding into the tank a school of 10 tetras and a couple of corydoras for a 20-gallon tank. Leave them there for a week or 2 with minimal feeding. They will get rid of most pests naturally. I ve had some issues with leeches, for example, and i saw with my own eyes, tetras in group grabbing the leech from various sides and tear it apart. Hungry fishes are really evil. I have a planted tank with lots of shrimps, tetras, corys and snails and i have to grow scuds separately because they won't last 1 week in the tank without extinction.

My shrimp are new and some are pregnant. I dont want to shock them can i make up a big jug of treaded water and add some each day to the tank ?

1) mosura are not true taiwan bees. 2) you made the listing of types too confusing. You are describing patterns more than types. Taiwan Bees = King kongs, and bolts. Either red or black. Thats it ;) Pandas, Extremes, etc. all fall within the King Kong grouping.

I keep cherry shrimp with Sterbai corydoras, Panda corydoras, platys, cardinal tetras and a male thick lipped gourami and none of the fish bother them except the corys sometimes bump into them and scare them when eating the gourami was interested when I first put them in and would watch them and try and touch them but like the next day i've never seen it going near them, the platys weirdly completely ignore them and i've never seen them do nothing or even acknowledge they are there which is weird as platys I feel are generally a "smart" fish who pay attention to other fish or new fish. The cardinal tetras just swim around in their own group and I feel like don't even know they are there either. Mines mostly hide in moss but theres always 4 or 5 just out walking around and then when I put food in they jump out the moss to eat and thats where the corys might bump into a few of them and scare them back into the moss and then they come back down.

I've had a cyclops bloom in my daphnia tank, they're pretty nasty. The entirely wiped out the entire daphnia colony in a matther of days. Thousands of individuals killed just for fun, they weren't even being consumed. Lately I spotted them in my shrimp tank and I'm worried they're going to attack baby shrimp too.

Hi there! I'm preparing to get amano shrimp of my own and I'm just wondering if the leaves count as a treat or a full meal? I use Hikari Algae wafers as the main staple for my shrimp usually so I'd just like to know if the leaves would count as a full meal or I should feed them wafers and staples as well as the leaves in a single day.
