That is totally awesome and amazing! Thanks for sharing this video. My father was a WWII vet. He brought a few battlefield souvenirs home. He kept everything at my aunts house in the attic. This was also his childhood home. Years later, he went up to the attic to get all of his stuff, only to find out that my aunt gave everything away to some collector. This even included his army dress uniform, along with all of his medals, and there was even a German parachute. I really think that this bothered him till the day he died. Approximately a month or so later, my last uncle passed away. My cousin was going through the attic, cleaning out the junk and he came across a box of glasses that were wrapped up in newspaper. After he emptied the box, he came across an amazing find. Upside down in the box, was a German M40 helmet in very good condition! Someone placed the wrapped up glassware in and around the helmet, only to lay undiscovered for several decades. My cousin returned it to me, and it sits in the cabinet upstairs with some of my dad's other stuff. At least I have something to remember his service by. I also came across his DD-214, and replaced all of his medals, plus a few other goodies he would've liked. I built a case that houses his flag, medals, and his service picture. I've tried to make him proud. I think he would've liked it
