@@LangersVW I got a 993 but sold it last year to funded for investmen. If all work out then I will be back and sort/rebuild a 993 C2S, and a Corrado. I still have a garage with full of 993s and Corrado parts but no car LOL😂

Ha good question and a big question Rob! I really love both I love the storm as of if VW Heritage going way back to the mk1 scirocco days vw never continued with it on the new scirocco which was a marketing opportunity missed by them! I feel as much as I live the storm it's a bit of a rip off mystic blue was the colour that was brought in for the corrado classic green I believe was always an option you got two Storm badges a set of BBS solitude alloy which were borrowed from the mk3 gold color concept an painted grille and CD changer that's it! No special anything else you around purely buying in to the fact 500 250 in each colour were made! 10 of each colour were automatics it could of been so. Much more in my own opinion I would of remap the ECU put in a/c made the 3 litre recaros are standard a nice plaque in the centre console saying it was 1/500! Because VW have stopped making a V6 or In line V6 I should say it's made the mk4 and mk5 more desirable and prices have risen over the last two years mk4s I feel are more special and unlikely vw to make some so out there at the time dare I say it something the Ford would do if you look at the mk5 this is a true VW very unstated until u get close up which makes the mk4 a very special car on top it’s more practical than a Corrado parts are easier to come by they sound awesome I don’t think you can go wrong with either but I do feel the Corrado was the last proper VW made in terms of build quality the way it feels to drive the attention it gets it aged well

Can I put a six speed manual transmission plus I noticed that some carrado got heated front seats different skirts around the doors

@@ronaldmoses48 you can put a 6 speed transmission in there was a company called Gemini that were doing them, yeah heated front seat where an option some leather came without! The side skirts were I believe after market but period few companies specialied in them like Sender etc 👍🏼

Glad you liked it Rob appreciate the feedback i don’t you can go wrong buying one they are great cars make sure the chains have been done as your looking at £1200-£1500 bill on top of the purchase price and the obvious like rust personally I’d go for a well specs well looked after example over a storm as you are paying a premium for a couple of red storm badges a colour coded grille some bbs wheels that featured on golf colour concept cars and the that fact that the only produced 500 all the best

Both are great cars you won't go wrong with either of them

16v has a bit more top end I love 16valvers 8v has more flexibility though the rev range, personally I found the 16v more responsive on the throttle thus could be due to 16v using K jet but I love them both my favourite was my G60 edition 1 awesome car loved it should of never of sold it 😩😩

@@LangersVW I have an golf gti mk2 8V, and my uncle use to have a mk2 16V said it was dangerous on the road was quick, I’m eventually getting my 8V GTI engine rebuilt all brand new hopefully will be fun when it’s done.
