Finally today i bought a timney for my precision axis 308 build. Ive been building this long range gun for about 10 years and the timney was the last item on list. The custom made apache gun works bull barrel brought the groups from 2moa to 0.5moa but with this better trigger its going to be a laser beam

i know it's an older video but gosh darn those cuts looked AWESOME at the beginning. beastly piece. the flex is necessary for that cutting prowess, being so thin. It's like a 2011 STI race-gun as a sword! I only own old swords and I feel pretty bad about using them for cutting practice, apologizing to the officers in my head lol. Reckon you've convinced me to buy a modern-made sword! have a good day brother

Good video! I was hoping to see a demonstration of how to actually dial the pressure up and down for trigger weight. I’m still learning and it would be very helpful. I’m getting rid of the trigger in the axis 1 I have. It’s just a tank. I guess I’ll go with trial and error for setting but the video gets me there. Thank you.

In my experience, 6.5 is notably less recoil and not in the same class as .308. 6.5 I can shoot all day, but .308 I'm done after a couple mags. 6.5 is closer to .243 than to .308, and since I'm stiff and brittle, I appreciate that.

Extremely disappointed with this stock. Purchased for my Mossberg 500 Tactical. The stock folds left side - exactly where the saddle for the extra 6 rounds is mounted. Meaning I have to ditch the saddle or buy a much bigger gun case to accommodate the huge width of the partially folded stock. Second big disappointment: the stock doesn't lock in place when deployed. The sliding parts that are supposed to mate together to form the lock - don't slide into each other. A lot of time with a very fine file is going to be required to get things to fit together. Save your money and invest in a stock that is properly designed and executed. This isn't it.

Here we are, 6 years later and the Suppressor industry is selling more suppressors than ever. I’m not saying there aren’t people making their own, what I’m saying is your prediction was wrong. And there is one big reason why - the BATFE (ATF). A lot of people choose to buy from 4 cans to avoid ATF entanglement. I’m not saying it’s right, I’m not saying it’s constitutional, but that is the world we live in at the moment.

Huh, I don't remember what I paid for the spring kit I got from midway but it was a lot cheaper than a Timeny trigger. Been running that on my mark II for over a decade now. My issue wasn't that the acutriger was bad, it was because the lowest adjustment was still about 4lb

09:40 this last bit about cutting the slack and burning the end after tying the hand knot is very important, because if you just do the hand knots, even a small slack will prevent you from being able to join the 2 pieces together all the way. Of course they don't show this in the instructions and i wasted 10 minutes trying out different things, and ended up not doing a knot and just burning a slighly bulkier ball with my lighter, which replaced the hand-knot pretty much. TLDR : The instructions suck and will make you waste tons of time because doing it their way simply doesn't work. Pretty sure they never tried following their own instructions ... You'd better watch this video and follow this 100%.

03:01 something they don't show in the manual... Which they should have ! I thought this piece of plastic was in the kit by accident and didn't know it could come in handy. Without those it took make almost 5 minutes to pass the 2 lower loops...

The "tearbrop" variant looks cool! But... otherwise it's totally useless, if it's night and you're trying to chamber a round like this you're gonna need a flashlight, best way to tell an adversary you're in the neighborhood! In the Corps you carry 'cocked & locked" before you're in field, the safety is really quiet if you rotate it slowly. Shhhh...

Since aluminum transfers heat there's no sense putting these on my rifle. Living in a free state like Arizona. Sometimes you'll need a glove just to grab a aluminum handguard. Having plastic or rubber handguards is a lot more comfortable when the barrel gets over 300 degrees

You don't need to. But it seems to hold together a little longer if you just cut an "X" with a razorblade. Either way the first shot just might be slightly off zero with lightweight projectiles like .22s....380 and up should still hit no problem

@@50StichesSteel they do, but why when you can have the real thing. I think airsoft was originally designed for countries that couldn’t own firearms, then it carried here as a tactical sport
@50StichesSteel
@50StichesSteel Жыл бұрын
@John Just like paintball though, it's a fun sport but you can also practice some real world tactics with it. Neither one was ever meant to be used as defense. Now they make airsoft guns with the same look, weight, feel, and close recoil.... So it's really great at imitating small unit tactics, urban combat, and CQB... It let's you practice communication, movement, react to contact, etc... The MILES "laser tag" gear we used in the military sucked really bad. We would fire blank cartridges and the gun would shoot a laser out...75% of the time it wouldn't work, wasn't accurate, and you had all this gear hanging off of you.... The paint cartridges called "simunitions" are awesome too but alot of times it's gard to get ammo, it's expensive, certain ranges won't let you use it and people need to wear more protective gear then airsoft
