How bad does the MK18 upper beat up your BCG components? I'm on the fence about purchasing one due to the fact that I don't want to be buying parts all the time.

It definitley adds more wear but it really depends how much you shoot uncleaned and unlubed.. average shooter will never shoot it enough to notice a difference. The only time it would be a concern is if it's in a military load out. Where it's getting thousands of rounds jumping from person to person. Or you are a sponsored shooter where you get thousands of rounds for free. To put it in perspective let's say your average BCG lasts 10,000 rounds..MK18 BCG might fuss at 8,500 or 9,000..The difference is tiny unless your round counts are gonna be very high..even then if you can afford to shoot that much ammo BCG parts are pennies compared.

Do you run a suppressor on the MK18? Looks like an M-Loc forward vert grip but that's a picatinny model right?

Not yet but possibly in the future..This grip is just a standard Magpul Picatinny forward grip

@@50StichesSteel Ok... Daniel Defense doesnt make that grip for the picatinny. I think you have to use an adaptor for it. Also, what color is that? It's two toned somehow. I'm ordering a Mil Spec + but yours might be FDE? Which is it? How did you wind up with two tone like that?

What color is your rifle? Is that Mil Spec+ or FDE. You got a two tone setup somehow.

The upper is consider Mil Spec + because of the handguard

50 Stitches Steel if you have to shoot in a vehicle I would recommend 300 blk with subs sonic ammo. Even without a suppressor is easier on the ears
