when filming don't worry so much about angle and setup if you can... we like watching imperfect... If we want perfect we can watch network shows. We want those real life stories and shots that are imperfect but make us feel human. Looking forward to this new chapter.

I believe if you post weekly in Mexico you viewers will go up. It’s very interesting for people to expose new out of the country videos. I for one am excited to see what you create there. You got this.

There are a dime a dozen car living channels and a dime a dozen traveling channels. That’s the problem. There has to be something that makes one different and really they just aren’t different.

No way you should be alone in Mexico. I don’t believe you have any idea how dangerous it is down there.

I have an idea. Making money on social media like YT is about popularity and connections so with that said I would reach out to other travelers like Nikki Delventhal and see if you could make a video together and get noticed by her followers which are almost a million but she has been doing this for a long time. It's a people business so you might be getting under noticed and left out of the trendy stream by these veterans since you're only less than two years into it. Once you get the big pool of subs then you can create more colorful videos and it will boost your morale.

Don’t be discouraged Christine. You make great videos and deserve many more subscribers and views. Stick at it and I believe that you will hit an upward trajectory in 2025. I know that you are a positive person and honest person with integrity. That is one of the reasons why people enjoy your channel so much! In any event 40k subs is not to be sneezed at! You are doing great! Absolutely fantastic idea to stay at a hostel during your next adventure. Can’t wait to see the uploads from your Mexico trip! In the meantime, have a well deserved break and a fantastic Christmas with your family. All the best!

Hi Christine! Long time subscriber, fellow midwesterner, and international adventurer here. I've read through the comments so far. I think they're all correct about Mexico. It's amazing and one of my favorite countries to travel (been to almost all the states now...), it's logistically convenient, and it also brings more risk than much of the rest of the world. Have a fantastic time and learn a lot! I've also been to India and even lived in Bangladesh for a bit. Mexico's much easier. You'll be fine. Here's a content thought, and do with it what you will - you built your base with Chase. The world is full of animals in need of a voice. Perhaps it would be attractive (content-wise) for a world traveler to engage with the world's animal welfare community? I have some thoughts if you're interested. Otherwise, best of luck on your new adventures! Buena suerte!

I love Mexico and I've been there maybe 20 times. It's absolutely ridiculous to say the entire country is dangerous. Obviously you have to keep your eyes and ears open but you've obviously got good instincts. I think you'll have a blast and I'm looking forward to hearing and seeing more!

There's a lot of fear and concern in the comments. It's important to see both sides imo. The world is rarely what media or people on the internet say it is. I fine it's much more positive, there are more good people than bad ones virtually anywhere you go. I feel the same vibe from people towards vehicledwelling in general. A lot of people will never have the mindset for it, and that's just... Fine. Whatever makes you feel happy is what matters. Other peoples' opinions -whether experienced or not- are somewhat arbitrary in the end. I would just say that you should stay away from cities if possible. Focus on the language for a while. Do a LOT of research about where to go and dont meander too much randomly. Many American cities are as bad as some Mexican ones. There ARE cities I'd just avoid altogether in Mexico. Just like America.

I'm super excited for your adventure in Mexico. Baja is full of expats and travelers. You are going to love it there!! People saying be safe mean well. There are amazing parts and not so amazing parts, but the same is said for the US. We were nearly carjacked in good ole Memphis, TN so everywhere has it's problems. You are more than capable and competent to handle yourself. I sure miss Chase, but I love still following you around on your adventures!

I don’t usually give advice or fear monger anyone however it would be a good idea to check the homeland security website to see which countries have high security alerts right now. And when new admin takes office some countries have made promises that people living in their said countries would be forced to leave asap in the event of specific political policies if those take effect . And one area may be safe but you might have to pass through or be near an unsafe area. If you need medical care you should be prepared to pay in full before leaving no matter how much you volunteer .

I don’t wanna crush any of your dreams because I live vicariously through you. Mexico is on high alert and dangerous right now I used to go every other month and I love the people in Mexico I love the food and the culture however for a woman traveling by herself with the drug cartels with the sex traffickers it’s out-of-control right now there’s a lot of pandemonium due to the threat of deportation out of the United States. Some of the citizens do not like Americans they are very angry. It is the drug cartels and the criminals that worry me and believe me I am a frequent traveler in Mexico. however, now I’ve curtailed all of my traveling until it gets safer. Honestly, it’s not always the Mexican drug cartels that worry me. It’s all of the other criminals that have come from different countries that still linger. In general, Mexico and her people are kind, generous, and beautiful. I’ll keep you lifted in prayers for safety.

Going to agree with other posters... right now is not a good time to go to Mexico for many reasons. There will be big changes coming when Trump takes office which will increase tensions between US and Mexico. Also, in Mexico, you need to stay on the path.. going off grid there can cause unspeakable issues. I'd be more interested in seeing content where you got out of the big city and spent 3 or more days exploring small towns across America. Go to Tombstone, AZ, Rosewel, NM or work at a Ski lodge for 2 months exploring adventures which may provide a roof over your head until warmer weather comes. Good Luck on your adventures..

I wish you well on your trip to Mexico. Mexico is beautiful and can be very unsafe. Please do not take off on your own and camp in your car in isolated places. Also be very careful in crowds as well. I live in San Diego and we hear about all the crime in Mexico a lot here. People travel there all the time without incident. However, there is still a chance of being the victim of a crime. Happy Holidays to you! Safe travels. 😊🙏❤️

So many ideas. 1. Have you considered planning trips for people. Love what you do. But I don’t have the time to put the trips together. 2. You can invited people with you to defer the cost. They can do their own thing if they don’t want to do what you planned. They don’t have to be on camera. Lots of people are like me a face for radio and a voice for print. 3. Plan a get together somewhere. Build a community. If I meet someone at a meet up I’m more likely to comment on their comments. 4. And let people know where you are going. Fans can tell you the off the beaten path stuff. When you went to places I used to live or currently live I watched the videos and thought you could have covered more cool local stuff. Like in San Antonio the site of the old midget mansion.
