Johnny Dollar one of the best shows on the radio. I would suggest that you listen to JD😃

This five parter is my favorite of the Bob Bailey Johnny Dollar shows, thus far. And I have yet to find any "bad" episodes from Bailey's stint as "the insurance investigator with the action-packed expense account!"

Bob Bailey was great. Listen to mystery and detective shows on stitcher. He struggled with alcohol at the time. His last episode sounded like it never get tired of these shows. His depiction of Johnny Dollar is the best!!!
@vincentsartain30613 жыл бұрын
Bailey was definitely the best out of all the several other actors who took on the role.

Heck, I'd settle for a "boring, routine, and mundane" expense account! But, NOOO, I gotta foot my own bill in the line of work I do for a living! 🤣

Melinda M Widgren My sentiments exactly. Great show and Bob Bailey was the best voice. And I must say, though I'm kind of embarrassed, that I'm glad I FINALLY have something in common with a pretty woman like you!! (I guess that's you in the profile picture 🤔)🙏

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I could swear I hear the voices of the actors who played Fred Flintstone (as the bad guy) and Floyd the barber from Andy Griffith (as Indestructable Mike Flynn) on here. Does anyone know if those guys were voice actors on here?

I’m enjoying this radio show but I don’t understand why they didn’t just have Mike declare a different beneficiary. It wouldn’t have been much of a story but it would have been cheaper. 😄

James Englebert too expensive to execute and it simply would not work for the new generation.

@@ElegantPaws01 how about a modern day adaptation?
@vincentsartain30613 жыл бұрын
The five or six different actors who played Johnny all had their own takes on the character, but Bob Bailey played the insurance investigator best. A modern movie version would need an actor who could at least come close to capturing Johnny Dollar as Bailey portrayed him.
