I made this today for visiting friends and it was fabulously easy. The 250mls of water to soften the dates is not included in the ingredients list though…definitely a keeper 👍

It’s funny idk why im so picky but I can’t stand roasted carrots in medallion form they have to be small and whole or cut in half length wise 😂. It makes no sense.

Great recipe… Made it and it was wonderful… Can you do a great winter dish based on historical French Canadian cuisine, like shredded duck on top of a maple syrup root vegetable purée coated in a heavy cream duck innards and blood gravy below a slice of pan seared foie gras?

Recipe was great! Made 2 batches one with sprinkles and one without. Cut back on the sugar if you make the sprinkles version. Sprinkles made it too sweet!

I asked chat gpt these: Hey, I have forgot something which i have saw in tv channel, when i was little. Can you make me remember that? That was in food network channel a young man who was travelling from one place to another, travelling and cook. that was a lamb dish and it was in maybe any Europe country. I don't clearly remember the channel name but it was aired in 2015 or 2016 maybe. The boy was so cute😍 And then chat gpt Helped me with your name. I will be so happy if you like my comment 🥰

I have made this twice now and the only suggestion I would give is to use 6 cups of stock instead of 4 because a lot of it simmers off and then when you add the breading it absorbs much of the stock, so you end up with a paste instead of a soup

Looks good, even if it’s anything but traditional. I honestly don’t mind stuff like this. Probably because the versions of Italian dishes from where I live, the Philippines, are anything but traditional to Italians too. Like there’s a spaghetti recipe here that has ketchup made from bananas as a ingredient & our carbonara is primarily made with cream with no eggs and Parmesan cheese. Why? Because the ingredients for authentic Italian dishes are quite expensive where I live. The only thing I’d change is to sauté the veggies first. Placing them all in like that looks weird for me.

THIS is the way to do it! kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5vNiXeYa8qoiNE And naturally, you don't need to use an entire deboned duck; only deboned legs.
