haha i lived in wallace for the snowboard season back in 2022 at the bed bug hotel there and worked up at lookout pass. nice town. i first saw your video on butte and as i watched it i was thinking your accent sounds familiar and then i was totally surprised that there was a chinese museum there. that makes it more interesting. saw you spoke mandarin in one of these videos. i think? i learned a little when i lived in taiwan and shanghai. cool travel vids.

Butte is a great place. I'm from Wyoming and my Navy roommate was from Butte. For some reason Butte is a town that other Montanans make fun of and my roommate was always getting ribbed for being from Butte. It's a great town, I've stayed there many times and always liked it.

Thanks for the comment William. My hometown is in China of course, but I currently call the United States home. I would love to come do some traveling up North.

Respectfully stating this as it sounds like your not from USA with your cute accent. I'm from Pittsburgh PA and the U.S. 19 Bridge you show was built by Pittsburgh based American Bridge as it cuts off miles of twisting roads below.

I was there in 1999. The town was empty. There was one scruffy guy behind the counter at the museum with not much to say. It was a very unique experience, alone in Billy's old town. Silent, desolate and maybe a bit lonely. But really brought me back to the time. Thanks for sharing your travels and narrative. Safe trip dear.

Thank you so much for your video. We plan on making a trip to the area. Your video was helpful, even though a little bleak. What happened to the area is sad.
@exotictravelwithrain9504Ай бұрын
It's sad to see the decline, but I think the area has a lot of potential. I hope you enjoy the trip.

St. Joseph is the birthplace of actress Olive Young. Her parents were Chinese-Americans and owned a medical service in St. Joe. Later she would move to Hong Kong and become the "Mary Pickford" of Chinese cinema! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olive_Young_(actress)

Did you see Our Lady of the Rockies. Thats a pretty gorgeous statue and interesting story.
@MubvekharАй бұрын
My dad lived where they were building the statue, and saw it being brought up to the mountain. My family came from Walkerville and Williamsburg. The hills used to be barren from the smelters and the toxic soil. But now, life is coming back.
