Same here! Used to watch this video before I could drive and always wanted a Cobra or Supra and 10yrs later I bought my 96 cobra that’s now my project, also own a clean bone stock all original 03 mach 1 and a 93 civic that I’m currently building a 330whp all motor k24/k20 set up

its weird because civics are slow and nowadays 2016, i see pickup trucks beat civics all the time, civics got low horsepower . i raced against a civic using my dads f250, and i beat civic about 8-9 car lengths away in quarter mile race

Ive raced typ s with my timberon both stock 6 speeds typ s jumps a head in 2nd gear i pass him in 3rd its a good race but my timberon takes typ s from 3rd to 6 and i top out at 160mph only reason typ s passes me in 2nd is because my tires are spinning I like hondas as much as next guy but timberons are a nice fast car and ive raced lots of hondas and acuras typ s as well as new cadillac with 550 hp and your subarus i always loose them when i hit 6th gear all stalk mines v6 6 speed gt tuscan you just gota know how to drive it

for those who say the Honda sounds like shit, then you must hate motorcycles as well. Honda engines are inspired by their Motorcycle origins. And that little civic sounds just like a CBR. Hard for a 4 cylinder to keep up NA vs a V8 anyhow.

a high horsepower srt4 does wreck all though. If they can go 10 seconds in 1/4 mile, they're even faster rolling. Hardly any of them are stripped down and still has air conditioning.

Anything with high horsepower can wreck all though. Some platforms are better adjusted to power levels then other, depending on parts durability. If I recall, SRT's snap axles at over 250-300whp, among other things. I could be wrong though. I don't hate SRT's, its their owners that give them a bad name. Same with the civic crowd, if it wasn't for their flatbill hats, and the impractical camber, they wouldn't have a bad name. Alias, some ruin it for all.

Brendan Nelson ha true. Maybe the regular neons snap axles, srt4 come with 260 horsepower. A big turbo and tune can get it too 500 on stock car, internals, etc. Honestly that's all I'm looking for with mine very cheap lol. I haven't really seen a legit srt4 on the streets they're all on the tracks.

One thing you guys are forgetting.. This supra in the video has 840hp, and the Srt4 was only Stage 2.. Being said, the srt4 was most likely stock when the supra wasn't.. Either way both are good cars is my point of this whole thing..

if you knew anything about the srt4, you'd know that it holds grip very nicely half way through 3rd and up

That's completely relative to the torque. A stock one won't spin like a built one will. My friend has a fully built srt4 that will spin the tires running 80 on the highway. Fwd spin like a bitch and way more than a rwd in my experience
