Hi, could you advise which bulb to buy? The link brings up a few different options. Tysm.

0:30 There's a TSB for that noise, that's pretty easy to do and it fixed the issue for me. Apply Shin-Etsu grease on a specific point on the strut, and check that your strut mount bolts are tight.

@@ExtremeDIY Gotcha, thanks for the reply! I did it a few years ago and it worked great, guess I just got lucky. I had no idea how a wee bit o' grease was going to fix anything, but it did! Sadly now the ride on my 2011 is getting a bit too spongy so replacing shocks all around, and just popped into your video to get the lay of the land. No rust here so not the worst job ever. Thanks for the great video!

Just wanted to drop back in and leave a comment. Explaining that this video was the one that helped me save oh about 400 dollars. My dishwashers pump broke as well and your video helped me fix it. For anyone looking for information my pump was still running however the shaft that goes from the motor to the impeller stripped out. So your dishwasher may sound normal but the water isn’t spraying inside the washer. Thus not properly cleaning the dishes inside. Anyway thank you for taking the time to record this repair and posting it to KZbin.

You are a life saver thank you! I was literally looking at new washers thinking I’d have to replace. have a small portable washer and all of a sudden it stopped draining and was just making this humming noise like yours. Did what you did and took apart the drain pump and there was a nail and a bunch of lint in it. Cleaned it out and put it back together and it works good as new again!

OMG! How many miles did your Honda have when you performed the first change? I have two Hondas, a 2006 Ridgeline, and a 2010 Accord V6. I change the tranny fluid every 15000 miles on each and the fluid has never really departed from the pink/red but I still do it. That first batch you removed was disgusting!!!

Is there a way to pop off the return line after you refill with new fluid and purge the system until fluid comes out clean instead of doing the fluid chamge 3 times? Couldn't you pump out one quart at a time with the line disconnected and refill it until clean..?

Try cleaning out the impeller first. Fixed it for me yesterday without having to replace anything. A small plastic wrapper stuck in the impeller was enough for it to stop water flow entirely

My results were also good. Before the drain and fill, there was a shudder between 2nd and 3rd. I feared the worse. One drain and fill had great results. The next drain will be with engine oil change. As you said, so easy should have done it sooner.

Excellent video. I need to do similar. I see the Kit you bought but I don't see the actual bar that you mounted the springs on. Did this come with your kit?, or is this a separate purchase? I really appreciate the time you already took posting this video. Any addition information regarding the parts would be awesome. Thank you

I used this pump to replace the pump on a Ecell 3100 PSI pump. kzbin.infoUgkxEU8wdEWW31diRsOawsCNfWEho39M27qd The model # is PWZ0163100.02 for those looking for a matching pump. It went on very easily - 10 minutes at most. Feels like a lot more power than the original but that's to be expected. Can't tell a difference when cleaning with the wand or floor sprayer. Would recommend as it was cheaper than most I found. The maintenance free aspect is definitely a plus too. Have used it through about 6 tanks of gas and have zero issues so far.

Mine is a bit different than this, hoping I can get to the impeller backside through somewhere.... Every other video I've found doesn't even attempt to clear any blockage. I'd rather fix than have to find the right pump or even a new dishwasher. I hate that. Thanks😊

I just replaced the front strut assemblies on my 2011 Odyssey (79k mi) this morning. My shop quoted me $1130 for this job. I spent about $182 on struts from RockAuto and saved myself over $900. It took me about 4 1/2 hrs to complete and trying to get the new struts into place was by far the hardest part of this job. I don't see how one person could install the new strut while holding the knuckle in place so the axle doesn't come out of the trans. Thanks for your vid. (07/06/23)

thanks for the video. I have a 2011 with 225,000 miles, and I don't think the fluid has ever been changed. Definitely shifting hard at times. I've heard if you've gone this long with no trans fluid change, you should just leave it alone. Does anyone know if that is wise?
@leonardcann6645
@leonardcann6645 11 ай бұрын
To my knowledge it depends on how good the transmission is before you change the fluid. If the transmission is slipping At All,it's best to leave it alone because it's the dirty fluid causing the friction to keep the transmission engaged...so if that fluid is drained/flushed it could actually make it slip even worse. Also a good indication is the condition of the drain plug. I have a 2011 Honda Odyssey with 175,000 miles. I bought it almost 3yrs ago at 138,000 and didn't know if it had been done before. My drain plug didn't have any metal deposits on the drain plug so I knew there wasn't much wear and tear...also there wasn't ANY signs of slipping before I changed the fluid so I was confident that it wouldn't make it worse. Also its probably best to do a drain instead of a flush if there's some concern about the condition of the transmission...just to be on the safe side. I'm not the most knowledgeable or experienced person on cars but this is my experience with mine. Hope it helped at least a little. Gonna do mine again soon and I'm gonna try Amsoil transmission fluid for the first time. I've been looking at videos and reviews for over a year and have finally built up the confidence.

I am in the same boat as you. Just bought a 2013 with 180K miles. Orig owner was not sure if transmission has been serviced at all. The shifting seems fine to me; going to do a drain and fill perhaps every 10K miles. There are conflicting information rather to change or not to change. I've read comments from many Odyssey owners; they had success with fluid change on their hi mileage vehicle with no prior service.
