This is a good vid, but Jeako could you show how much damage these punishes are doing. I think you should do more videos about how handle different situations with akuma. Like if you have ken in the corner, wat do you do as an akuma player. I think scenario base vids are more important than basic combo vids that one see on other channels.

Idk what is “frase advantage” “ -9” “confirm” where can learn what it means.

Not sure if this is mentioned anywhere, but as of Season 2, Luke's level 1 can be really bad as an anti-projectile (depending on the range and reaction time). They extended the hurtbox on it, and in my experience 9 times out of 10 the enemy's projectile hits me before the super goes off, wasting my level 1.

Usually when you see an opponent wiff a throw against your wakeup in the corner, you think "OH, input error" and go to punish. Instead Akuma is still very much plus here and sticking out a "punish" is likely to get you lit up. Akuma, if he has a full tank of gas, does 10,000 in two touches. So you don't have to "right" very often with your shimmy to get a big reward. But you do have to put in the work and understand the situations like the above.

Gonna be studying this, my punish game is ass and i gotta level up if i want any hope of making it through plat, thank you!

You know, I was going to do an oki video for Akuma, and I’m not saying he doesn’t have anything complex or tricky, but it seems like his most common knockdowns are just dash once or twice and strike/throw/shimmy them.
