Pickard is good experienced goalie and has a more calm mind at this point. He only let in one extra goal to lose the game and it was a bounce off the post to begin with. He played well in my opinion.

The difference between the two teams is that the Canucks grind it out and hit until they wear the opposing team out and get the puck. Where as the Oilers don't grind and hit as much. Both teams have skill but the Oilers need to grind more to match the Canucks so to possess the puck. This is why the Canucks beat the Predators. The Predators grind about as much as the Canucks, but they don't have a lot of skill and that's why the Canucks won because they were able to score that one goal they needed to win the series.

Too huge of contract, and he super loves Europe, he doesnt' really care about Vancouver, wants to win in Sweden World Championship instead, too much investment into Euro freaks!

Can someone please consult a goaltending person, re watch that game, and tell all these guys that Pickard was merely average , he was scrambling a lot, and was beat a few times that didnt end up in the net , not to mention a few of the huge , juicy rebounds, that happened to go past sticks.

I agree it's only 3-2, and there is still a chance, and normally I'm mr. optimistic with the oil but based off of what I've seen from them so far this series, the chances of them winning 2 games in a row seems almost none existant, that's why it feels over and probably is, and why people saying it's only 3-2 feels so hollow

I was at the game tonight and game 1. Luck had absolutely NOTHING to do with it. Pride and desire were the only variables. In both the road losses, you could feel the game favouring Vancouver whenever it lulled or was kinda even. Pickard was the only Oiler who remembered why they even came to the arena tonight. Had he not been standing on his head, I damn near would’ve wanted us to lose because I promise you, we didn’t deserve to win either of these road losses. Pick deserved better. Frankly, the rest of the team didn’t even deserve to be in front of him tonight.
