Wish that long bed option with the CrewCab was coming back for the contractors that don't need a full blown pick-up. Its hard to justify a new purchase with this shortcoming, so I'll keep my older model for now.

Had my 2023 Trailboss with dealer installed HO tune 14,000 miles now. Not one problem. Love it. Just keep your oil clean and run top tier fuel. Cheers to all

"more standard options" means more items you don't want means higher base prices of all trims, means higher prices for what you want since some of the options you would normally not pay for. I have specced a Colorado Trail Boss in 23 and 24, and it was $42,340 now this same specced Trial Boss will probably be about $45K because of the "more standard options" on its base Trail Boss trim.

I’ll never understand why the straight six isn’t used a lot more, especially in trucks of this size, a 3-4 liter inline would be perfect for the application.

I would think because of the packaging. A longitudinal straight six will take alot more effort to fit into the engine bay of one of these things and at that point they might aswell put a v8 in like what happened with the first gen colorado.

Yeah the turbo 4 doesn't even make good gas mileage anyway lol

I wish the Colorado or Canyon would have about 1”-1.5” more rear seat legroom so it would be less cramped in back seats and wish it came with an extended bed like the Tacoma.

What GM should do with the trim line up is WT LT ZR2 Trailboss was all go and no show with the work truck look and feel. Z71 was all show and no go with stock ride height and no fender flares. Combine both trims into one package for the LT.

Same thing happened with my 2019 Silverado Custom Trail Boss. My favorite thing about it is that it's not loaded with features and luxuries that I don't need, want or use. And I got the Double cab. So it kept the cost down. Now the Custom TB comes with more stuff, only comes in a crew cab, etc etc. So the cost has shot way up for one. Sucks that it used to be affordable to many and they have ruined that now. I see they are doing that with the Colorado TB as well. It's another $2,500 in 2025 for more stuff I don't need. smh

This podcast states different facts from all of the other videos and podcasts that I've seen. An example is the TurboMax being the only engine, whereas others say that there is still a base and TurboMax 2.7L 4 cyl engines.

i agree with the black interior on the zr2-- and get rid of that yellow stitching and make it red. red is always nice looking on top trims

They still don’t let you put the telescoping steering column on the trail boss. WHY

Yup, and it's because the way the TB is currently set up, it's a Work Truck with a lift, stance, and some drivetrain goodies. This is exactly why I've been advocating for a more upscale Trail Boss to replace the Z71 and take its higher end interior. Why doesn't Chevrolet make the width between wheel well in the bed at least 48 inches, so that a sheet of plywood could be laid flat on the floor? Ford's Ranger is able to do that.

GM should give ZR2 Bison a bit more horsepower. Especially with the added weight and rubber. It could really benefit from a 350-400hp tune.. would be more in line with Ranger Raptor, which is pushing over 400 ponies. I agree completely on the interior..ugly af and needs an alternate option. I'd rather see a jet black interior with red stitching. Looks better and more fitting of the ZR2 trim.
