I have to say the 2025 equinox is a very good vehicle and get very good gas mileage also. I did a dealer trade with one and had to drive it for a distance, and it didn't even burn quarter tank a gas. I was driving it between 76 to 82 mph. Very comfortable and quiet ride. I recommend it if you are interested in the new equinox if you want very good gas mileage and a comfortable ride

Not sure id be comfortable with Super Cruise Control vs Adaptive anyway. Not holding the steering wheel or having to step on the brake when needed, you’re basically putting your life trust into the vehicle not screwing up.

Well yes…you’re also putting your trust into the car that the engine doesn’t blown up, or your brakes don’t fail, or your turning signals don’t randomly stop working, or your battery doesn’t randomly die…you’re not taking any more of a gamble than you are with literally anything else in your car (provided you keep up maintenance).

@@DsgSleazy im a lot more confident in my engine not blowing up and even if it did, surviving. And also have a lot more faith in my brakes not failing, as opposed to a car steering itself and stopping when its supposed to. So completely disagree with you in putting as much faith into brand new technology that ive never used before as opposed to the 3+ decades ive been driving without my car blowing up or brakes not working or air’s bags not deploying

I have the 2025 equinox. I have a question about it. A few seconds after I start it, I get a siren like sound that last for about 2 to 3 seconds? What is that for or what does it do?

Hello great video! I do have a question. Our 2018 Equinox had a round knob on the driver's door that you could either open the back liftgate by pushing the knob, or you could also adjust how high the liftgate went. You had two choices, full extension or three quarters. For our garage, we left it on 3/4. Is there a way to adjust the 2025 liftgate to about 3/4 extension so that it does not hit the garage door?

I just brought on and yes you can customize how far to open it. You customize on the screen on this model/year

Thanks for the video! I do have a question that seems no one talks about. Are all the 2025 Equinox stop providing the universal home remote? How to program your garage door opener then? Firstly I thought it was in the menu of the screen but seems nothing there for it. Anyone has answer?

Good morning; thank you for watching and for the questions. The square shaped item is the following distance indicator, which shines a bright red light onto the windshield when an accident is imminent and action is needed to be taken to avoid it. As for quiet and smooth ride, I believe it would be a toss up between the LT and RS with the smaller wheels. The ACTIV isn’t bad on ride quality, but the all terrain tires deliver more road noise. Big deciding factor for me in getting this is: does the steering wheel have a volume up & down control and song controls (next/previous)? I couldn't tell!

For really dark roads you have high beam auto on/off which reacts faster than a driver to oncoming traffic or just pull back on the turn signal mast or maybe push forward, forgot which way.

How do you turn the fog lights ON? I went into the menu and lit-up the fog lights icon - they never came ON!

That's strange. The menu is the only place that I know where the fogs are activated. You may need to turn off the high beams for the fogs to come on, though. - Alex

If your in Auto mode it will come on with the headlights. I don't know if it operates independently of the headlights.

Have a ‘25 RS on order…what is park assist? Does the car park itself?

No it's the beeps that tell you when something is close. The game changer is the 360° view. It makes it so easy and safe when parking. Also the rear camera switches up as you pull forward. You can also move the camera icon to the always available position and then turn the camera on at any stage of parking. Sorry for the confusion there but you will like 360 if you've never had it.
