I'll be 60 soon. I still do this. I don't jog back at the beginning. I walk back after all 15 sprints.

if you think how our ancient hominid hunter gatherer ancestors evolved it makes sense . We would lightly jog tracking a target animal food, then when attacking the animal it would involve a fast sprint to go in for the kill. this combination would be repeated often, as we didn't always make a kill every time. The jogging wouldn't burn a lot of fat, other wise we would be dead before we caught our food, but the sprint burned up a lot of energy and fat.

Or just eat less food,a 3-500 calories deficit will loose 1-2lbs a week, don’t need to train to loose that weight, training helps with endurance, hypertrophic, and strength benefits, while it helps burn calories u burn so many calories daily that just eating a little bit less u will loose weight very quickly

They've done peer reviewed medical studies that have proven SIT improves fat oxidation as well as endurance. It's not necessary or desirable for the general population, but it is time-efficient and ideal for athletes.

I'm in my late 50s and have been doing this off and on for years now. The one adjustment I make is I walk it back after all sprints. It's an age thing.

I did this workout 3 times a week til it got easy then I added uphill sprinting 3 reps on top of it, then I added 1 mile sprint at the end. That’s where I’m at rightnow. I used to weight 220 when I started this workout 10 months ago, now I weight 168!💪🏽😌

Sheesh idk about push up n all that, just sprinting and jog back 5-7 set in 25 minutes (same distance as the video ) already a killer for me. Old age heart burn problem 😅

"Doing slow long distance doesn't burn fat" 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣 this is wrong. I can tell you it certainly does! Lets just take a second to think about fat oxidation... running at a slower longer pace around 45% - 75% of VO2 max "medium to moderate" intensity is the most optimal range to burn fat. Its more affective than anything else but is fairly boring. HIIT just gets the job done quicker and is more enjoyable for some people, whilst having other benefits to the body over slow cardio, I prefer HIIT training and a fan of it over the latter but I'm purely correcting the misinformation 👍🏼
