I can't remember where I heard it from but a child's worldview is usually established by the time they're 11. As such, they target children before this age, to warp their worldview so thoroughly it destroys them and those around them.

Thank you for this. I have several medical conditions including a chromosomal abnormality and epilepsy. I might not be able to have children of my own (although God can do anything) and have to be on medication to stay seizure free. Oddly enough, my experiences with these conditions have not diminished my faith in God. In fact, it has strengthened my faith in God and I saw many blessings come into my life because of it. Here are some: 1) Because of my chromosomal abnormality, I am more open to adopting in the future, which is a beautiful expression of what God has done for us. 2) Only 1% of girls with my condition make it to birth and when they do, they can have many challenges. God has given me incredible health in light of this, and I just graduated college with honors. 3) Having epilepsy and not being able to drive helped deepen my friendship with one of my closest friends. We started the routine of going to church together on Sunday mornings and had some great conversations. She is basically another sister to me. 4) There were times when I've felt like I might be going into a seizure and prayed and it didn't happen. I am convinced that God protected me in those moments. I am now almost 2 years seizure free. Sometimes it isn't big, flashy miracles that are the blessing, but rather the small ways were you see God show up.
