In the 1990's I had a 1992 Infiniti Q45. It started surging so I took it into the Infiniti Dealer. After waiting about 20 minutes they told me one injector was bad but Infiniti recommended changing all of them when one was bad because of the labor involved in getting to the injectors. So I went to the pay phone and called Infiniti of America. They told me they would NEVER recommend changing all injectors if only one was bad. Infiniti called the dealership while I was waiting and in 30 minutes they brought the car out to me and said all they did was put in a $5 can of injector cleaner. They were going to charge me $1500 for NOTHING. Dealerships are a rip off machine.

I bought a 2015 acadia last year from the local chevy dealer and was told the rear brakes would need to be done in the near future, got around to doing them and of the 4 parking brake shoes, only 1 had pad material secured to them, and they sold me the car with the rear brake caliper brackets on the wrong sides. I pointed it out to them and they made me an appointment 2 weeks out after one of thier guys hummed and hahhed and tried to say "I think they're supposed to be like that." Supposedly after that appointment they're supposedly covering the parking brake shoes too but we'll see

My right front headlight went out on my Chevy Equinox, I couldn't see where or how to replace bulb . Went to dealership and they said $175 to change bulb because they had to remove front bumber first. I walked away and went to KZbin and found out to replace bulb was easy , there is spot inside wheelwell where you unscrew lid and then remove and replace bulb and screw lid back in ..took less then 5 minutes.

They also ripped me off! I went to see if I could get a vehicle. The salesman said I made way more than I did and it was the end of the day. But I left in a new 2017 Dodge minivan. No paperwork or estimate on payments. No payment for 3 months. The vehicle was damaged from the hurricane in September of 2017! It stalled out at a light. It had water marks and mold. They never detailed it prior to giving it to me. And they were too busy to do it both times I came back to have it done. Fort Myers Florida on US 41.

As a young soldier in the 90s I bought my first new car. It was a Chevy Cavalier. I was so excited. The car started breaking down regularly right after the three yr/36k warranty expired. I contacted CHEVY but they weren’t any help. I will never buy another one.

The dealership is charging by the book rate which is common pratice. You could charge by time and material, but the time would different for each situation.

Vehicle dealerships are poorly run, and the overcharge on everything is to cover the cost of warranty repairs. The manufacturers refuse to cover.

I will never understand why dealerships prey on their own customers when it comes to service. It certainly is antithetical in terms of building brand loyalty.

It's not a rip off if they told you up front what it was going to cost and you agreed to it. You "caught" them charging what they said they would on the phone with your hidden camera "investigation." I bought a new to me used Ford (2013) recently, and it came with only one key. I contacted the dealer to see what more of them would cost, and I got a quote exactly like yours, along with advice to leave it all day if possible too. I declined their offer. This was my first car that did not use a regular (or what used to be regular) nickel plated brass key with no electronics at all, but that really sounded excessive. I got two key blanks with integrated fobs for my car online for $17 shipped (for the pair). Got them cut at Ace for a few bucks each, and I was able to test them and make sure they worked before I left. I got the programmer from Home Depot (with one transponder key, no fob) for $50 shipped. There were sellers on Amazon that had the programmer with two fob keys, but they cost more than the programmer with one basic key and the two fob keys separately. Home Depot, of all places, had the best price on the programmer with a cheap basic key. The programmer worked perfectly with the two fob keys (I never used the one it came with), and they work perfectly. $80 or so for two keys, fully functional, and the only drive was to Ace, which is less than a minute away. I would have to drive longer than that to get to my mailbox if something was mailed to me. If I had seen your commercial hiding behind a dishonest clickbaity title, I would not have used your service even though the price was far better than what the dealer offered. That's some shady stuff you're doing.

Bro don’t know is that we as a tech have to make hours some how! We don’t get pay by how long it took us cause by the time we park a vehicle and fishing stupid multi point inspection report that’s already 20 we do warranty jobs that pays 15hours and we ended up stuck for 3 whole days you pay for knowledge not for the job if you want to become a mechanic come and get peace of 🎂 anytime I bet you won’t last 3 months when you see how many hours you take home not to mention that parts lot times makes more money than service just by selling the parts but stop making this funny videos just because of people like you I have to go home with 30 sometimes 20 hours at week when I’m at the place 45hours but when your warranty covers the repair you the first in right
