Thanks for the feedback 🙏! The throw range for that shifter was designed around console space limitations and was also chosen based off of what our typical customers prefer. Because you already maxed out the throw reduction, the only option to reduce throws further is a lower knob height. The reason the difference is so noticeable compared to the RSX short shifters is because RSX shifters are extremely tall so a small change in knob height impacts the mechanical advantage only slightly. On the 8th gen civic shifters, the distance from the knob to the pivot is notably shorter, so the same height adjustment range makes a larger impact on the throw as a result. This is simply just the nature of the OEM 8th gen civic shifter being so compact, which is not something we can change or easily revise to give more throw adjustability than what we’ve already provided.

Any base map that accommodates a 3.5” CAI will work, but it’s best to get an ECU tune refined with a local tuner/dyno.

Our upcoming short shifter for this platform will feature adjustments to tailor the shift throws, gate spacing, and knob height

Direction of cable operation is the same but where the ends mount/the select lever assembly is different between the Si and Type R since they have different transmissions.

The stage 2 shift kit is just bolt-ons parts for the OEM shifter. They provide a modest reduction in throw/gate spacing, but our upcoming short shifter for the platform will have much more range of adjustment like our previous short shifters 👍

Yes this stage 2 kit will fit the DE5 Integra Type S and the A-Spec too 🙏
