Thank you very much for your videos. They're super-usefull, thanks to them I did Stage 2 shifting kit on 10th gen Civic myself. BUT... there's one small mistake, which can cause loosening of the rocker bolt. In video you have 7.7 Nm of torque, in PDF you have 17.7 Nm of torque.

We appreciate the love! And thank you for the catch on the typo in our videos! 17.7Nm is the correct torque, and we’ve placed a note on the video to mark this correction so it’s consistent with our PDF guide 🙏

Thanks for your answer, I did it for 17.7 Nm. I'm little bit weirdo when it comes to tightening something, and I'm usually afraid of loosening some bolt, so that's me :D. Now I have few hundred kilometres with Stage 2 shifting kit and I have to say: "THAT IS AMAZING". Still cant believe, the crankshaft is same - so huge the difference is. Actually I replace standard "Sport Plus" shifter (how Honda actually calls sporty version in Europe) with Type R shifter, and then make the whole Stage 2 for Type R. Fantastic... @@ACUiTYinstruments

Hi there , if I don't have a torque wrench to secure the purple washer for the rocker , will it be safe ? Please advise , thanks

It's not possible for us to provide a universally accurate answer to this question. If you tighten the screw to nearly the correct torque (say +/- 10% of the target torque), it will work fine. If you severely under-torque it, it could come loose. If you severely over-torque it, you could strip the threads in the threaded hole. We provide torques so that all customers can have a consistent experience and not need to rely on their instinct to judge the correct torque. If you absolutely cannot locate a torque wrench, the best advice is to tighten using a T-handle or L-handle allen key (not a ratchet) so that you cannot easily over-torque. Also, consider using a small amount of medium-strength loctite on the screws. Our best advice is to use correct torques and NO loctite as this will give the most reliable joint and the easiest disassembly in the future, but if you absolutely cannot get a torque wrench, L-handle allen keys and medium (blue color) loctite is your best bet.
