BRAVO to Russ and his team. I dropped in this shifter into my 19' sedan SI last week and the first impression from myself and my buddy when we took it out of the box was: "Wow, this thing is way over engineered" It's a bit ridiculous, in a good way. Kudos to that company for a 2 year R&D, as the end user, I really appreciate it. I dropped the best regarded short throw shifter into the 13' STI I had, and it was GARBAGE. The shifts were short, but even with the proper bushings, it still wobbled in gear and the NVH was UNBEARABLE to the point of getting headaches on long drives. He's right when he says most companies over look these things. The price tag is a little high, but it is worth every single penny and honestly I would have paid more for it if I would have experienced it ahead of time. I went full send and put the throws to the shortest value, and gate spacing to the smallest value(3). Gate spacing was so tight that it was hard to figure out what gear you just slipped it into. 2/4/6 could all be mistaken for each other. I ended up putting it at ~1.25 out of 3 for gate spacing, shortest throw and it is amazing. NO NVH. So precise, crisp and satisfying. literally ~2 cm throws. Idk how they did it.

Thanks for the love, Jon! Very well put. Glad you're enjoying the shifter! We also tell customers not to start on the shortest settings. Normally we only use those on our test and race cars when we have the knobs set very high (especially if the knob is high and you're using a tall knob like the Esco). That's when those very short/narrow adjustments become handy. Reach out if you ever have questions we can help with! :)
