The new MESA/Boogie® Badlander™ 50 offers a slightly different personality than its 100 Watt sibling, with an easier to clip power section and a brighter, bouncier feel. Multi-Watt™ power via front panel switch offers the option to utilize the pair of EL34 power tubes in a 50 Watt Pentode configuration or a 20 Watt Triode configuration. Two identical, footswitchable Channels feature 3 new dynamic modes - CLEAN, CRUNCH and CRUSH - supplying a wide range of gain and tone shaping to cover virtually any style. Adding even more versatility, an on-board CabClone™ IR, gives players the ability to go direct silently or with a cabinet, for recording, stage or headphone practicing with instant access to Impulse Response captures of 8 real MESA® cabinets mic’d in a Pro Environment and library storage for even more. With its new voicing, clip-friendly power range, built-in Variac power selection and on-board CabClone™ IR, the Badlander™ 50 may be the most versatile and recordable Recto® ever!
