🧸Damn, I expected fandom drama and boring stuff like most iceberg videos do but holy damn! This is such a good video. No, not good. It changed my life and how I view Sonadow. I never thought about Sonic and Shadow's relationship in such a deep way. I liked Sonic since I was 8 years old but the obsession kinda dropped when I was 13. Now that the third movie came out I'm back in the game and now started shipping Sonic and Shadow. First I was like "Haha, cute silly hedgehogs" but after the video I'm also like "Sonic and Shadows relationship is so genuine and they actually have such a deep connection. May it be platonic or romantic" This video also gave me inspiration to draw them (I have trouble with finding motivation drawing things from time to time). Thanks to you and your amazing video. You really inspired me <3

You can actually discover, if you wait long enough against Black Doom, that Eggman reveals having lied about the android thing. He actually found and saved Shadow after SA2, also seizing the occasion to clone him. So, in a way, Eggman did care a bit for Shadow.

I think they don't let her go with them is that cream has everything they lost. Cream has an actual family and sonic and the others want her to enjoy that. Also she is basically like their little sister especially Amy. So no, I don't think its because she is too young its because they don't wnat to feel rhe pain they felt ie losing their loved ones due to war with a crazy scientist.

I miss how old Japanese games from 90's and 00's had "Obligatory Powerhouse Child" character, kinda like Chibiusa from Sailor Moon, Presea from Tales of Symphonia, and some other examples. When you're also a kid playing this game, it feels awesome to see such character being so awesome.

The idea of sonic dragging shadow around to go sightseeing and then faxing the pics to the president is insanely adorable and ridiculous. Thanks for the video going into this topic honestly. The entire photo on the desk of the literal president has always been hilarious and made me question it. I think I know exactly why these two work so well -- Silver is so unbelievably autistic-coded (intentional or not) with the way he struggles to communicate with others/pick up on social cues and how anxious he is about doing the right thing (among many other symptoms but I'd be here all day), and then along comes Espio, who is practically every autistic person's dream: he's blunt and straightforward but gentle and calming in his approach, which makes him easy to understand and talk to; he listens attentively and takes Silver seriously, allowing Silver to be himself without having to constantly feel defensive over his goals and ambitions; and lastly, Espio provides support that lifts Silver up and allows him to shine, both emotionally and practically, without it feeling like he's being patronized or babied or undermined (because boy howdy do I experience that a lot irl). Espio's personality so perfectly fits all of Silver's needs, and that in turn allows Silver to open himself up to Espio who otherwise struggles to make close friendships outside of the Chaotix due to his aloof nature. Silver is someone who shares Espio's drive and moral compass, and even their respective fighting styles compliment each other well. They're such a perfect match for each other in all areas of their relationship, and I can't believe Sega has been sleeping on them for so long. If we do get a Silver-centric game in the future, it had /better/ have Espio as a major side character with a supporting role.

I wasnt interested in Rivals and after this video I... still dont care for it one bit but its interesting to see some stuff from it Well now we saw how Sonic 3 puts them in an interesting place where theyre both manipulated by an older authority figure. Pretty fun and interesting. They also dont interact much aside from both sacrificing themselves for their respective loved ones and general parallels (they both are envisioned by writers to be very emotionally vulnerable to the type of manipulation Gerald pulls on them) A fun spin
