Gracias

@@anibalsancheznuma3133 Perhaps it was the 80s? I spent my childhood in Kazakhstan, and one girl from our class had a father who went on business trips to Cuba. The Soviet Union cooperated a lot with Cuba at that time.

@@russiawithoutpolitics8269 I was born in 1985. Yes, since 1960 Soviet Union and Cuba were very close, russian language was taught in Cuba at schools and many cubans went to Moscow to have their college degrees. Even today there are a lot of cubans with russian names, like Vladimir, Boris, etc...there was a very high influence of Soviet Union in Cuba, specially in economy, a lot of products that were sold in cuban stores were from Soviet Union too. A lot of russian books of all levels were used in Cuba, I remember for instance collection Mir was very popular, science books, literature, a lot were from Soviet Union.

I first heard this song sung by Dmitri Hvorostovsky. fell in love first with the song, then with Dmitri's voice and presence. Already purchased 3 of his CDs and I'm learning Cranes on my keyboards. Your group rendition is stunning, the many names of Russian Soldiers on that wall, the homage to the lit fire. Beautiful and thank you. NO MORE WARS, Love & Peace ❤ & 🙏
