Interesting but you don't show how you disconnected and replaced the electric cutout switch to the side of the vacuum tube in order to get the cover off.

Extremely helpful, fixed my pull chord as it snapped then, i went to put it back together and the chord wasnt going back in and didnt know how to sort it, this video helped me sort it myself now its perfect👍

Great video, brilliant visuals of the over arching system. I noticed my 40 plus was down to a trickle whilst on a cruise. No hosepipe, but had. 10cm2 NHS syringe. I chamfered the nozzle to effect an air tight fit and pumped in and sucked out some petrol (a supreme solvent). After 5-6 cycles all sorts of crud appeared in the syringe. My engine is now like new. Also, 10cm2 syringe slightly more than fills the Seagull water galleries, as shown in the vid, such that a bit goes down to the impeller. Job done ✅

How do you do it when you don't have the oil filler cap mine has Like oil nipples or something?

Mate, you are good but you're vids need to be compressed more.

No need to hammer a prop off! Once the Spring and Washer ar removed, look at the drive shaft. Usually damaged in some way! Feel all round to find the BURRS and LIGHTLY file away. Hammering a prop off will either KNACKER the prop or, the Brass inner bush! Imagine trying to replace a Drive Spring at sea! With the end of the Drive Shaft all KNACKERED UP!

I've all the bits off but need some tips on how to get the exhaust pipe off, stuck fast, would be helpfull if you put the socket/spanner size on aswell, maybe set up a playlist for seagull vids. Very helpful site thanks.

Great video, actually shows how to do things whereas most dont, I have been slowly taking one apart but it might be too far gone.

I think the head gasket goes the other way up to the way that you have put it on 😂
